Wooooaaaahhhhh... I expect the side switching system to be amazing if they've been working on it for years and years.

I believe that that quote was a mistake by the journalist reporting what was said as, on the website where the blog (or whatever it is called) was appearing there was an introduction saying that City was 6 years old and had had 6 free expansions and was soon to be getting a seventh. This makes me believe that it was originally going to launch with 16 but, due to an earlier error or a misconception it was reported incorrectly.

And not a single one I am interested in.

I hope the Incarnate system/whatever is something I'll like, otherwise...
I wonder what will be is I20?

Me? I'm a time-travelling genetic experiment. I ain't becoming an incarnate. That's why I'm hoping this system is related to incarnates without simply being 'become an incarnate. yay'. I can see why some people would want that, but in-game incarnates are currently meant to be the ultimate. If everyone's an incarnate, then just how powerful are Statesman and Recluse anymore?

If it is becoming an incarnate, then I'll be making a new character specifically to do so, but not using it on any of my existing characters. It may cause my namesake to not be maximum awesome, but he'll make more sense in my head.

I think issue six makes sense, as it was the issue that City of Villains was released. Thematically, it fits.

What about having him unlock his maximum genetic potential and/or become more in-tune with time itself (along the lines of Doctor Who, where it is said that a Time Lord that absorbs the heart of the TARDIS becomes a mad god)?

I know I'll definitely be taking my first villain (Bots/Dark) incarnate, since its power was always meant to grow without limit (although like others have said, I'll only do this if being incarnate isn't the same as being Incarnate).

I think he meant the costume packs as the 6 expansions. Also, issue 6 was when CoV was launched, so they could have wanted to have side switching with the release of another faction to switch to.

Hmm name that issue game I see.

If it hasn't been used/suggested already and continue with the 'Into a mirror Darkly' theme from Issue 17 (which is technically Going Rogue free bits part one) then I suggest:

Issue 18: Mirror Shattered.

I hope MMs can pick a true Taunt power as an Incarnate power

Yeah, but the devs could show their dedication to recycling!

Currently they are both slightly weaker than a team of 8 "regular" supers. And we've all been using samples of their blood and Well of the Furies water to make our vaguely-defined "enhancements" for a while now. That ship has sailed already.

At least though this explains why the devs got irked with me when in my INCARNATE video, I initially had it labelled as "Issue 0: Incarnate". They told me to take the Issue thing off... but at the time, I didn't think to question why... it's coz we really WERE getting it as an issue!

I'm sending in headshots now, in preparing for a walk on roll!

Oh, and Issue 18: Bug Fixer!

Interestingly, when he was talking about the rewards from the incarnate system, Positron seems to make a distiction between our character and alts. Perhaps the number of characters we can run through it will be limited.

I just know that I'll almost certainly be very satisfied, regardless of what more is added to what we know.
Yeah frankly I can wait 'cause I've got my heart set on the deluxe edition with all the...y'know...STUFF stuff in it. My wife, on the other hand, wants to pre-order for her birthday gift. And who am I to deny my wife on her birthday?

But naw, I don't get being in a hurry to have the new powers...but that's me. Kudos to those of you who do.

I suppose I can't argue with that. If the incarnate system turns out how I expect, then I'll just avoid it quietly.
