The Rikti will invade with a new mothership (ala end of beta party)

Then, Tyrant and his crew will come in the darkest hour and help beat them back, setting up a permanent connection to Praetoria while furthering Tyrants plans.

Actually, I think it's issue 24... they're going to release 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23 over the next 7 days and then BAM.... Issue 24 on next Wednesday. Just to overload everyone who has been dying for something new! And to laugh when the servers explode and they've made the entire playerbase cry for days.

And because we wasted our resources on the Rikti, the Coming Storm had little trouble laying waste to Earth.

I'm another who thinks that maybe the Rikti don't come with ill-intentions this time. Really, of all the planets in the universe, why would anyone want to rule this one?

Of course, if the second Mothership arrives and lays waste to Atlas park, then there's an excuse to rebuild it using the new GFX, and layout seen in the background image on the website.

Also the Rogue isles were left alone during the first invasion, so will the Villains get attacked by a second Mothership? And if so, where's it going to appear? If it pops up over Cap, it's likely to settle on top of the sky scrapers making quite a good roof; after the villains have beaten the snot out of them!

They kind of addressed that, though, I think:

This. This would be awesome.

And you know what would also be amazing? If the Rikti had set up shop in the Shadow Shard somewhere and that was part of how they were launching their invasion, the dimensional holes they puncture to reach the Rogue Isles linger and give villains Shadow Shard access!

I am just going to explode with anticipation from the teasing, and that will be very messy for all parties involved (but especially me).

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

You know, it might just be possible that they're going to test some GR tech - like flag every Hero as a Vigilante, and every Villain as a Rogue, so anyone could team with anyone in any zone
