2 moar badgz 4 me!
I really like the art on the villain badge. Don't care so much for heroes. My loyalty lies within the Arachnos.

Your closed beta access is basically flagged on your account, I believe, so when you log onto the test server it tells you whether or not you are allowed in. |

Disclaimer: YMMV, void where prohibited, plans do not survive contact with the enemy, we have met the enemy and he is us. It makes sense that they'd do it this way, and it seems like it's their plan, but I'd be careful about making any complex plans based on Test nevertheless.

How hard is it to also announce the time frame for this regarding EU? Unless you're planning on awarding these badges US side only?

So does that mean we're counted as loyal in terms of Closed Beta regardless of whether we cancelled our accounts during this month but still have a week or two left to run on the sub?

2 - If your account is flagged for access, you should also receive access to the beta forums - which are viewable only to those with access. They may or may not be top level listed. So check boards.cityofheroes.com once beta starts, if you normally use a shortcut to the one of language subforums.
3 - Apparently we have confirmation it will be on a separate test server, which indicates we will need to use a separate login instance (as the Live and Test servers are separate logins/clients).

And I laugh at your annoyances about Pacific time. But then, most of the people I need to get a hold of at one of my jobs, that are reps for other companies, keep Eastern TZ hours, so I have to worry about making sure to call them by my lunch time.

Basically if NCSoft continues to insist on Regionalisation in terms of server groups then they should post official times for both those server groups in any Redname announcements.
If they decide to merge the two regions together then I'll happily adapt to your weird timezone instead

Is there yet an answer to that tier 1/3 beta acces stuff regarding EU players?
(the 60month playtime stuff).
I'm getting pretty fed up with all this US above EU crap (yes they started it yesterday on Aion also).

Well I guess my $144 subscription doesn't make me loyal enough. Bah! Oh well acount #2 runs out Dec 24th. Leaving only the last of 4 accounts active.

I guess this was a NA only reward... My sub has been runing since... 2006 or so, and no badge for me (EU player, shame on me).
Oh, and there's no way for me to contact PlayNC support, since PlayNC website (at least FR) is down.
Love the badge art! Especially the villain version. It gives Widow and Recluse a fanciful pixie-like quality. Like itty bitty evil fairies. Please thank the artist for us.

People really need to read the thread before posting questions.
EU people: Pacific time is GMT+8 so adjust accordingly.
People worried about whether they qualify: get on the horn with Customer Support and explain your situation and get confirm/deny. Or just wait until after the maint window and look for yourself, and if you have a dispute then go take it up with CS.
Devs, thanks for making a game I can always justify spending 30 bucks a month on.
