I'm up to 679 badges now and I will have 681 badges tommorrow when I get Shop Keeper and Entrupenuer.

Friend of mine has to file a petition. She only let her account lapse for a few minutes, and support told her that she'd still be in the running, but hasn't gotten the badge.
Dispari has more than enough credability, and certainly doesn't need to borrow any from you.

All I know is my friend was on a resub, but the card on file was frozen. She didn't think about it until a few hours later, and switched cards out. She has an email form support saying she wasn't deactivated long enough to be disqualified, so she sent that email as a petition to get her badge.

And sometimes certain bills take precedence over CoX for a few days hence why month-to-month)
I've already put in the petition but didn't think of a generic ask the question first before hand. Oh well I gotta do some work today before I can actually play so hopefully I'll see something in my E-Mail aroundabouts "Hi, we have checked your account data and noted that the amount of time actually 'off' was minimal and applied that badge to your account."

Tomorrow is the moment of truth, then. I'm praying like hell for this, as I'm selfish and want in on Going Rogue beta. However, although I think I was active the whole time, I'm paranoid that it lapsed for a couple of minutes or something between my previous paid time ending and my automatic paytment for the next group of time.

Pretty simple, folks. If you subscription lapsed, you're not eligible. If it didn't, you are. If it didn't, and you didn't recieve your badges, open up a support ticket. If you can't tell whether or not your account lapsed...then you've really confused me. At the least, I suppose, you could ask CS if it did or it didn't. But wow.

Did my account lapse for a few hours or for a day? I don't know. I wasn't at home on Nov 1st, so I don't know if I was locked out ot the game.
(Does that still confuse you? Cuz it confuses me. )
If it comes down to it, I'll contact customer service. I've been with the game since CoH was in beta and don't plan to quit anytime soon, so I believe they'll be reasonable about things. (I lost a couple days due to my bank cancelling my previous debit card as a "safety precaution", if you're wondering why my bill date isn't the 28th.)
And either way, I'll wait until I get home from work and check for myself whether or not I earned the badges before I spam the poor customer reps.

Obviously you don't know the answer to this question however I do not as well and I'm pretty sure that 2-3 days in 4-5 months is easily overlooked as a bill processing issue or otherwise.
For vet rewards and such, the lapsed time states something in the range of 90 days (I think, my account is active at the moment and I can't see that status)
And by the way, lose the holier-than-thou attitude plz.
I'm more loyal to my home and food on the table than to some on-line game when it comes to the current economy.

Oh, no doubt! I just went through a bad patch myself! I guess I just can't figure how folks don't know if their account was canceled or not. If "lapsed" has another interpretation beyond "canceled" or "inactive account," then you are correct, I need enlightenment.

I have really no idea when my account ticks over to the next billing cycle. If I was to cancel at some point, or if say, a significant other cancelled the account without informing the other party, then there could be some question as to when/if it's still active.

Obviously there are going to be goofy issues. My bank got bought out in the middle of the Loyalty period, and my accounts got sold to two different banks. I had to go and rejigger everything, new accounts, credit cards, everything had to be changed over at PlayNC. But I never stopped paying. I firmly expect to get my badges tonight, and I will open a support ticket if I don't. *shrug*

Well, doing a quick check to make sure, it's +8hrs for GMT time from Pacific time.
And I laugh at your annoyances about Pacific time. But then, most of the people I need to get a hold of at one of my jobs, that are reps for other companies, keep Eastern TZ hours, so I have to worry about making sure to call them by my lunch time. |

Oh, you misunderstand me: I'm not annoyed at the PST, I can convert time zones easily and even if I couldn't there are myriad sites that do the job. I'm annoyed at being ignored because I live in Europe and apparently don't deserve the same treatment that US players get.

Do you know why they primarily make announcements using PST? Because that's where their headquarters is. They're not lounging around in London saying, "Man, to heck with Blue Rabbit and the other European players! This game has officially gone to the Americans!!!"--they're in California, in the United States, and that's the time they operate on.
If Paragon Studios primarily operated out of Europe, I would expect their announcements to be made according to their local time just the same. It's actually kind of silly to expect them to do otherwise.
