The Ninja run looks great and I really like it for the most part. On the other hand, I REALLY hate that something this cool that I've wanted for so long was only made availabe thru a booster pack. I wish this would have been introduced into the game in a new travel pool with three other new powers. It costs waaaay to much endurance to not be able to slot it, and it turns off CJ. The biggest draw back is I want to use it IN battle. I move around alot while fighting and I want to have that style IN battle.

I'll use it, but something as cool as this could have been intoduced to the game alot better than this.

I see more stuff like this in the future, though. They have to make the Super Boosters worth $10 to more than just the collectors and costume addicts. Look at the Super Tailor introduced with the Science pack - that's *huge*! It's a real incentive to spend that $10. I think they're going to keep it up, too.. which is an excellent business decision.

I mean, I don't have a ton of money to throw around, but I have a bit of money set aside as "spending money", and since City is basically my only form of entertainment (besides vodka.. ahem) I don't sweat the extra $10 once or twice per year. I already save that much (or more) by paying for my subscription annually instead of monthly.

I dont wanna say anything because i dont want the power nerfed, but, that'd be dishonest, so...

NS stacks with Inertial Reduction!

wow, 4 pages in and no one has brought up the new weapons. yes that's right this pack does come with new weapons!

So there's no advantage in PVP with it.

I hate losing the defense that CJ gives but it does look pretty cool.

I might bug it and see if we can at least get CJ not to detoggle.

I've been really cranking numbers and trying to move stuff around to find a power to remove on my widow. I think now I can safely remove SJ and rely on ninja run. She has a fast run speed already thanks to Mental Training, and if I combine that with Sprint she should run quite fast, with just enough jump height to get over obstacles (I have a jump pack otherwise).

Other than that, my monkey character has spent the last hour just jumping and flipping because it's so damn cool.

I haven't seen all the costume parts yet, but some are pretty good. I may end up using the shoulderpads and gloves. But I heard someone say you can't use the belt without a robe? If that's true... can we get that changed?!

I have one ninja based toon (ma/inv) and I think it'd be cool to fight with Ninja Run on but not at the cost of losing CJ.

The detoggling of other powers is understandable, but if you could find it in your hearts to make it slottable with End Reduction, I would be eternally grateful.

In my defense, no one had said it wasn't slottable when I asked if it was slottable.

Also, I understand their reasoning, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. ;]

I'm still advocating CJ being suppressed instead of tetoggled! Ohplease!?

IMPORTANT NOTE

The PvE speed and Jump Height values are correct. However, at this time, the PvP values are NOT correct. They are set equal to Super Jump's values while in Arenas or PvP zones.

This will be corrected in a future patch.

Obviously I don't know for certain as I'm wasting time at work and can't check it yet...

But I would assume that the de-toggling works in a similar manner to the other automatic de-toggles.

ie when you toggle NR on, it turns off CJ, SJ, SS, Fly, Hover, etc and if you toggle any of those back on then NR automatically turns off. So, if that's the case, then just make your two turn on binds. Hit NR...run...hit the CJ bind...go to town.

I was wanting it to be slotted because we need a natural alternative to super speed and other travel powers that isnt dog slow unless your super reflexes. I hope castle does considering lowering the end cost on this if its not going to be slottable

It's representative of the Natural Origin. Cyborg is Tech, Magic and Super Science are self explanatory, so Martial Arts is Natural.

Then we have Mutant, and maybe Incarnate if you really push it...

Then we could just... you know... go through the origins again, but with a different focus? You know... Gadgets for Tech, Aliens for Natural, stuff like that.

I'm only worried because walk does not work that way. Walk detoggles everything, and then you have to physically turn walk off before you can start executing powers again. Granted, walk is an exception... so I'm hoping you're right!!

Not all Technology based characters are Cyborgs, but the Cyborg pack counted as the "Technology" pack. I *do* hope they come out with more natural based costume bits, but make no mistake this does count as the Natural booster pack.

I've just looked through the costume bits, and they are AWESOME! I can already see a few non-martial artist uses for some of the pieces. The Chinese broadsword looks sweet too!

Oh, and Jay, Cheryl: whichever one of you is responsible for the Tai gloves (Tai Skin, specifically) is my hero; finally, there's an option for brawlers other than wrapped hands and forearms or fingerless gloves.

Yeah, I'm digging this booster.
