when I try to start a game it says its it detected a new patch and needs to verify files. when I do this i get an error saying there is a missing or corrupt file. when I try to repair the files as suggested it comes up says fatal error and crashes the launcher. I find however that if I ignore the verify files then I can get into the game.

I think the key to the solution IMHO is to supress toggles and not turn them off.

I have tried clicking on the meteors and nothing, I tried talking to people at the beginning of the the trial to see if one would give me a scanner like they do in bloody bay, but nothing. what am I doing wrong?

ok so I didnt notice those other random NPCs (they had to be since the event was staged and not live) with the other costume sets, still this does not mean they werent actual ally NPCs. Even so, the design and nature of their costume parts acquisition seems to say they have something more to the game than mearly a different way to market costume parts.

The Elemental Order costume set screams lore. who are they and how do they fit into the CoX realm? it's obvious to me that they are good guys since there were at least 2 of them at Statesman's funeral. this also suggests that they are connected to the lore of CoX since there were only signature heroes and groups at the funeral. does any one have some cannon lore on them? or perhaps this is a new group (with historical ties to the signature heroes) that we havent been introduced to yet.

as a villain I have gotten Valentine tips that want me to go to a hero zone, I got all of these tips on two different villains doing the widow maker arc.

yes more classic/spandex options also skeleton parts (actual skeleton, not zombie) and phantom limb parts (invisible)

with Statesman dead in the next SSA that could role out the red carpet for LR to make a come back and possibly an invasion battle between Cole and LR.

Every time I try to log in to the game I get a pop up that says " You must fill out the account and password fields to log in to your account!" but they are filled and no mater what it wont let me sign in!

this forum talk has me thinking that a real fun way to do it would be to make GC accessible as a lvl 50 zone similar to the PVP zones we have now but with no PVP . the point would be for both sides to do missions that change the different parts of galaxy in the same manor as Lord Recluses Victory zone.

personally I haven't had much chance to check out the story arcs that far but aside from the amazing job you guys did on the zone I do have one bit of feedback I would like to focus on...

the zone itself is WAY too dead population wise. I think a great deal of this is due to confusion on how to get there. any time I bring up the topic of the zone I get lots of people confessing they haven't been there because they don't know how. I am SURE its just a bug but the contacts don't show up under the contact list in my experience.
Personally I think it would be much less confusing to put one contact in studio 55 that takes you to First Ward. this would make it less confusing and easier to get to the zone.

Also I recently found out that the reason I could not get any contact to talk to me was because the contact (red or blue side) I needed to talk to in order to get the ball rolling. In my experience, any contact that doesn't give you something to do, most people skip it, and I was not the only one on my team that couldn't get any contacts to talk to them. the whole team were long time vets and all were confused

I for one was thoroughly bumbed that the new CoT makeover did not extend to all of the CoT. I was looking forward to new designs for the CoT demons, hordling lashers, and ghosts

ok so first of all I have had an all human PB (long time ago) played all the way to 50 and it was fun. so this time I wanted to do a non human PB (basically just doing pure focus on both the nova and dwarf forms). Now this lead me to ask a few questions.

1. does incandescence give its buff regardless of the form your in? the description didn't say anything about form specific so wasnt sure.

2. can haste be used in forms other than human?

3. how does inherent fitness pertain to my non human PB?

4. are there any changes to my build that i should be aware of for I21? I know there is a huge list of changes, but most of it I wasnt sure what i was looking at (im not a numbers man)

5. any suggestions on how to slot (common IOs for now- no sets thanks) my Nova and Dwarf powers would be great...

currently I have 3 slots in incandescence and 6 slotted both bright nova and white dwarf as well as dwarf heal. every other slot has been going in evenly among the powers for nova and dwarf.

my biggest complaint is that they CHOSE to do open beta right before double xp weekend, in effect taking away a great deal of players from the game when we needed them most for teaming. this has been the DEADEST 2xp weekend ever! I definitely could have waited on open beta till AFTER 2xp weekend.

it used to be oh so easy to find a mission team or a TF forming but now its like pulling teeth to get a response to LFT. its enough to make me want to get PLed in AE (and not in PI where people are asking for exorbitant amount of money to join a farm) and I rarely PL my toons in regular play time.

and on top of it all you kill the servers TWICE for maintenance.

good job devs you have officially made me NOT want to play CoH this weekend.
