The Kraken in Perez Park was there first, so Lusca needed a different name. Not sure why it couldn't have gotten renamed when an actual giant octopi moved in.

Except that Lusca is kind of a Mascot for IP, and youu can usually see her waving at the heroes near Icon.
EDIT: In fact I'm protesting this ad and restaurant. Lusca harms no one, and can't be faulted for getting locked into a man made port. We should all be doing what we can to get Lusca returned safely to the sea, instead of launching unprovoked attacks against the poor dear.

If you look at that poster you can clearly see that Captain Krak'n is owner of that Jumbo Seafood and Lusca is happy customer. They must be friends
