Okay, that's pretty funny.
Man, I completely forgot about the Bat-dog. ha! -
I've got 5 pulled right now, since it fits my allowance.
Action Comics
Justice League
Fury of Firestorm
Flash
Superman
I liked the #1s of each, but each one (even the larger Action Comics and Justice League) felt too short. I guess that means I want to read more. -
Well, things are frustrating. Back in say June, I had started a few times playing again, and started having issues. CoH not only would seemingly randomly crash, but it would completely shutdown my machine. I was running at the time with a single GTX 460. Also had an 8800 in to run as a PhysX proc, but had to take it out when the fan died. But w/ the single 460, I had random crashing problems. Sometimes could play for an hour or so, sometimes less, but always a full crash and pc off. I even tried a fresh install of my pc (I had been involved in betas). That did not solve the problem.
When I was able to get back to playing again here in these past weeks, I found this thread and the mention of rolling back to around the 270.61 drivers. That did seem to do the trick! But now after having installed the BF3 beta, and loading the beta 285.38 drivers, I'm back to crashing in CoH. Every other game on my system runs fine, except for CoH.
I know I can roll back drivers to get the game to work, but figured I would add in to the list of affected nVidia 460 owners that were experiencing problems. Posting my CoHHelper result here in hopes that it will help give info that might resolve the issues.

But the hype has been fun. The stuff going on at www.flynnlives.com was great for an ARG. I just finished the tie in video game the other day, and I really like what they did with it, using it to enhance the story and give you some of the happenings on the Grid pre-movie.
I'm seeing Legacy tomorrow morning, and I'm expecting fun. Looks like it will deliver, from what I've seen so far.. -
Back in college, I ended up getting my roommate hooked on anime, and right about then, a lot of the Neon Genesis Evangelion fansubs were floating around teh webs. We watched them, and then named our 2 pcs and a shared server after the NERV Magi computers - Melchior, Caspar, and Balthazar.
I haven't gotten too creative recently on my pc naming at home. I'm too literal now a days. Windows drive. Games drive. Maybe I need a spark of naming creativity to freshen things up. -

Darn it. This pack was completely off of my radar till I saw it this morning on the front page. Then I just had to go look at the shiney videos and see two auras that would be absolutely perfect for two of my long established characters. Not to mention ideas spawned by the others. They must've been data mining my characters.
Dang it. Pack purchased. And I'm gonna like it. Grrrr *shakes fist at clever Paragon Studios and their cleverly targeted pack*

My best wishes to those moving on. Thanks for your work on this game that I have a lot of fun with. And even though I can't play for long stretches of time, I keep my subscription constant since I know I'll be back in the City. And the reason I keep coming back is the work Paragon Studios puts into it.
Cheers to you, and best wishes for the future. -
I had not heard of this movie till this weekend. Now I'm very much in the DO WANT crowd.

Bought this faster than a ninja.
Quote:If you look on the page where you can purchase it, click on the links of the emotes and costume change emotes to see them. Also Ninja run is viewable, as well as some of the costume pieces in the screenshots.Screenshots please? This will determine whether or not I actually buy this.

May your enjoyment last at least as long as it took you to make the journey!
Many gratz! -
All of Posi's post sound pretty good on the face of it. My only concern is if the team level will be tied to the level of the mission owner, then my initial thought is that there will be a lot of teams that only run their high level member's missions so they don't have to exemplar down to anyone.
So anyone lower level on the team gets their missions skipped over, and you're back to a 'skipping content' issues that some people have if they never go back to do them, or outlevel conctacts or what not. This is more of a social engineering issue than it is a coding issue though. And the Ouro-Flashback system helps somewhat with this too.
There's also times where even having someone a few levels above you helps the entire team (and not just the easy "lvl 50 clean the mission out" type of help) so I'm eagerly awaiting developments on Exemplared chars keeping powers.
Oh and another second to the motion of having the email system restrictions base off of global friends instead of your char's server friends list. Ever since global channels and friends, I haven't bothered adding anyone to any of my char's friends list. Even with the limitations on number of global friends. -
Awesome, forums back up... pants back down and off! Triumph's forum lives on.
