Ergo, the Ninja pack has a very high probability of being the Natural booster.
Also, Cyborgs are not the only Tech theme, and Ninjas are not the only Natural theme. Ergo, I'm expecting that once we go through all five of the Origins, we'll start over with other themes that apply to the same Origins.

Or at the least, five packs relating to the "sub-origins", Gadgets, Relics, Inventions, Genetic Alteration and Focusing Devices. I could seen an Alien pack for Natural aliens, though, as well as a Military themed pack. And can we dream here? A Motorcycle travel power?

When fighting with this on, it is completely supressed and you don't get any benifit from it.

3) It is unenhanceable.
This is another point that I can probably get over. The devs wanted to give us a good power without the ability for it to become over powered.

4) It costs double the endurance of sprint.
This falls under the overpowered part of the power as the point above states. If it didn't cost any end, then it could definitely be called over powered.

5) Doesn't work in Granite :/
Not that big of a deal, just saw that some one asked about it and wanted to note that it doesn't.
I am sure all of that is working as intended. Because even with as nerfed as it is, we already have someone whining that people can now pay $10 to become overpowered. Imagine if it cost less, was usable in combat, and was slottable! The DOOOOOM would be unbearable!

Dude, Ninja run + robot ninja scrapper (Dinah Fujibayashi) = YESSSS. Instant buy!

...however, minutes after, Paypal freaked the smoo out and put my account on restricted mode. Buh? o_O I've never had it whine about buying from the NC store before (I paid for all the other boosters with Paypal) so, um... o.O;

"Smoo"? Is that a "Dinosaurs" reference?
I still remember that particular episode, funny as heck.

I'm just pointing things out. Mostly for people who are at work and can't get on the game to experience this for themselves.

The points where things I noticed, and the comment underneath was what I felt about it.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Unfortunately the link in this bit points directly to the US version of the pack, and I've got used to websites giving prices in dollars enough that it didn't occur to me there would be a seperate EU version until after it wouldn't let me apply it...

Oops.

Any idea what I do now? :/

Yeah it works with sprint. It just supresses travel pool powres (SS, SJ, CJ, Hover, Fly).

Give one of your American friends the code and buy and EU one?

...I'll be happy to take it off your hands

Here's a few of the Ninja Run, including speed stacking.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

Unless they've changed something, you can't give a purchased code to someone else; you have to apply it to a CoH account under your NCSoft master account.

The only option for someone who bought the wrong version is probably to contact Support.

You know, I'm going to mention this again if and when a Staff power set comes out, but it would actually fit my character 100% if while running with a staff drawn, he were to use the staff to vault when jumping.

BaBs, is that possible, or can only the animation of the run be replaced? (I'm guessing the animation has to vary, since he holds the katana out while jumping as well as running. But the actual animation to initiate the jump might be different somehow. And no, I don't mean right now, obviously, I'm wonding if it's worth asking for in conjuntion with the Power Set)

Oh, heck, you just reminded me of my other character that will use this.

Hey, another point for those saying the power shouldn't be too overpowered. It also shouldn't be so useful that just everyone will want to use it. It should be powerful enough that those that fit its concept will get use out of it, but not so useful that other concepts would be at a disadvantage if they didn't. I mean, that's two characters out of all of mine that I think will be using it. I don't even think all of my Natural characters will use it. (My Peacebringers certainly won't, and Joe Everyman is more of a Neighborhood Watch kind of guy, not trained in martial arts or anything)

I forgive you for how disappointing the Science Booster was.

This is the best thing ever. I love you.

additional bit of conspiritorial pondering. one thing people, including myself, pointed out in threads related to other mmos(and no, not just that one) is that we liked some of the more stylish running and flipping animations. poof, here we go, plus i'm marking out that the Chinese swords i bugged for in the "unselectable weapons" thread were almost all put in (no 9-ring broadsword, but I would be insane to complain) I can say without hesitation that this pack is the absolute best one of the current 4.

It was my understanding that players received a one month credit to their CoX subscription with the magic pack, is that true also with the Natural/Ninja pack?

HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.

So far I love this pack, but I have to point out that the "Braided Buns" hairstyle doesn't scale at all with the "Cranium" sliders, so if you increase them you start balding.

To celebrate this booster, here are some ninja facts:

  1. Ninjas are mammals.
  2. Ninjas fight ALL the time.
  3. The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people.

Umm you got the credit if you brought AE City of Heroes box, not the Magic pack which gave a credit for one of the first two boosters.

This is untrue, there was no gameplay time included with any of the Super Boosters.

You might be thinking of the fact that adding the CoH: Architect Edition to an existing account would give you a month of play time plus your choice of either Super Booster I: Cyborgs or Super Booster II: Magic.

Edit: WOOT! 1000th post!
