I can't freaking believe I forgot about these.

One thing I'd like to request other than new guns. Is some rework on guns in game.
1. The revolvers need a better bumpmap. They need a better shine. They look a little flat.
2. Also, I would like the guns with lasers to use the secondary color for the gun itself. It's nice to get lasers, but I wish it weren't at the expense of the ability to color the gun.

These two give a good generic modern look without sacrificing too much style.
Anything too specific will lessen its usability.
They are less blocky than the current ones. And they already have defined two-tone mask. This is easy pickings...

How about a flintlock..wait I hav'nt finished! a flintlock pistol thats clockwork operated, something old fashioned, something like a nemesis sidearm. to be straight its the clockwork pistol from fable 2 (dawww) but I cant find any decent pics. But! I found something similar!

While we're at it, I still want a Winchester for the AR blaster set. My cowboy-themed toons are sadly incomplete without it.
I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

A "Tech" Pistol Set, similar to the tech broadsword and sheild and mace options.

This is also nicely understated yet (multi) functional... Bat-Grapnel (Arkham Asylum)
All look like they could handle multiple clips/functions. Without going into the realms of laser tech, your average superspy/dark avenger/massively gifted archeologist could have everything the Malta Gunslingers have, plus...
- an under-barrel air taser (hold/stun)
- welding torch (PB range flamethrower)
- grapnel gun (TP foe)
- mini-rocket/flare launcher (those who had an unhealthy interest in SCIENCE! when younger know that these don't have to be much bigger than an AA battery, and also look great taped to skateboards or rollerskates).
Is it time for the dance of joy yet?

Paragon is in a fantasy world populated with super beings, dimensional travel, and ultra high tech like giant robots so I see no need to limit dual pistols to modern real world type guns. I don't know of any that would fire all the ammo types mentioned at Herocon anyway, so no need to leave out flintlocks and the like. With the tech of CoH just because something is made to look like a flintlock pistol doesn't mean it is a flintlock pistol.

Was flipping through world.guns.ru and saw this SMG which would make an awesome pistol model. It's a PRC weapon called the Chang Fang, which I'm sure means something in Chinese but is just a name to this Westerner. 
EDIT: Another random link in the SMG section found this high tech lookin' toy, which is even basically pistol shaped yet sci fi lookin'. It's called the Kriss Super V, and apparently there's only four or five of 'em in all the world at the moment.

I agree with what some of the other posters have said. If Nemesis can make a steam-driven assault rifle that performs as well as or better than "modern" weapons, and a Thugs MM can use "Empty Clips" with the existing Flintlock model, than a flintlock or percussion cap pistol should be a viable option for DP.
Anyway, here's another real-world gun that would be a good fit for steampunk characters, the Smith and Wesson "Volcanic" Pistol.
9mm Calico Auto Pistol. This bad boy will mow your neighbors down, your lawn, that annoying person standing on your lawn, & milk guy sleeping with your neighbors wife in one fell spray.

One more vote for scifi/unusual weapons, especially biotech or steampunk inspired, as opposed to realistic, contemporary pistols (boring).
