I'd probably pay good money* for the pistol Arcee uses in the real Transformers Movie.

For one, we should of course include the grandfather of all submachine guns, the Bergmann/Schmeissner MP18. While it looks like a cut shotgun, it was the first operational sub machine gun, desingned for WW1 trench war. Unlike light machine guns as the allies introduced later, the MP18 was designed to be operated while moving with only one hand thus making it perfect for DP. The gun was also the main reason why the Versailes treaty did specifically bann further research and development of light automatic guns in post war Germany.

Maybe check http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg76-e.htm (A great russian site about hand held weapos - most stuff available in English).

Next would be the MP28 (and it's variations), often seen in Nazi movies, a follow up to the MP18.

And finaly a look at the HK MP7 should be made (some pictures again on the russian site: http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg49-e.htm and Wikipedia: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/HK_MP7 ). The MP7 shares the 4.6x30mm calibers with the UCP (Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heckler_%26_Koch_UCP )

4.6x30mm is an interesting development - away from single high mass bullets (and the mythical man stop) toward low mass high energy shoots. The UCP can hold 40 rounds in a regular pistol design. Steady aim, no recoil, easy handling more operation until recharge as main goals. Sounds like a lot of the features we need at CoX for our weapon tricks...

I was wondering if we could have guns that look like toys?

Here is a toy space gun... I don't see why it couldn't shoot real bullets...

In your OP you said no Ray guns, and then you said you wanna know this stuff for peoples "concept characters".

Why can't the ray gun design shoot real bullets?

A sweet concept character would be a spaceman/woman comes down to planet paragon/rogue isles and has modified space guns that shoot real bullets...

On a truely serious note, it i would have to say the USP Solid Snake uses in MGS, MGS 2 and MGS 4

As well as the Ambassador From TF2, now THATS a true .50 cal, so powerful, it has a picture of your enemys mother on the barrel XD

also, useing the ambassador and headshotting people, i have actually been acused of hacking because "only snipers can headshot people"

Not sure if this was mentioned but I always like the guns from the Blade movies.

Unfortunately typing Blade and gun in google brings up all kinds of gunblade pics rather than the gun I'm referring to.

Okay, pardon the loadout from Wikipedia.

Considering that i'm totaly taking Uzi in the game to be the full sized gun (and not the Micro or mini-uzi models) and the fact that a superhero should be able to hold their stance while firing dual guns of any type at speed (Neo, guy from equilibrium, etc) most of these are more 'Machine pistols' or 'Sub machine guns'

Starting off. I fully support the HK MP7 from previous posts as well as the MP5.

I'd also like to see the KG-99 because it really looks like a nice pistol.

That and the TDI KRISS pistol

I'm not really much into guns myself, but I figured I'd put my two cents in anyway since it's beta. ;P I've seen these dual wielded in something before and think they might be an interesting idea. They're unique enough looking in my opinion to be a possibility.

Actually a bolt pistol would make more sense. Do you realize how BIG a storm bolter is? It's somewhat larger than an MP5 and three times as wide. Judging by the sheer size of them and how much metal would be involved in the construction process it would weigh more than 50 pounds. Not gonna be dual wielding a pair of 50 pound guns that have that much recoil any time soon. There's a reason only Terminator armor and hero characters can use them. Because they're huge and kick like an antiaircraft gun....in your hand.

Besides, they're copyrighted/trademarked anyway so not useable in this game.

could be simulated by a brief electrical discharge when firing, small sparks and such...probably not accurate to what a real version of such a weapon might do, but sufficiently believable to allow for the flash and flavor

Also, look up Gold Digger comics and watch for anything made by Brianna Diggers. She CAN make ray guns, but she REALLY likes bullets and projectile weapons.

Otherwise, I'd have to say I'd prefer to have versions of some existing pistols - match compensator, the tactical pistol - with colourable casing, and not just the sight...?
