Since issue 18 came out I've noticed the game crashing after a few hours of play. When I checked the resources in use when the game crashed (Using Windows Task Manager) the Ram being used was 2gb, so I added an extra gb (taking it to 3gb), however I still get the same crash at between 2.1 and 2.2 gb of useage. This is total page file useage and will include other things running in the background (normally just Paragonwiki and team speak).
My Wifes machine (which is a different build to mine) hits the same issue at the same point, her machine has 3gb too.
Is anyone else getting this and has anyone got a fix?
Both machines are running XP with service pack 3. -
The group of people I normally play with tell me that to get the badge and reward from a TF now youi have to enter every mission.
I've tried searching the patch notes and the forums, but alas my search-fu is weak today.
can anyone cobfirm this is now the case or point me to a post on the subject. Cheers! -

I'm indifferent about the prompt, it's the 3-5 second interupting Graphic on the target thats an issue.

As of the patch today when you are given a fortune you have to accept it again, seems like a retrograde step and to make things interesting you now have a graphic show when it's cast on you which stops you in your tracks for about 3-5 seconds which earlier today got my wife killed in a mission.
Wonder if this is intended? Has anyobe seen todays patch notes? -

My opinion is the "SPAM" level is set too low. I've been locked out just trying to get 15 items from the AH. 15 items isn't even the maximum I could have had available to take. It seems to me you should be able to take down as many items as the maximum you could have on the AH very quickly without being locked out. -

I had a blast too Stayed in atlas the entire 3 hours and apart from the initial lag for the first 15 mins, it was a great laugh
Especially liked orion star tanking a whole mob of GMs as a defender!
Did not like the way everybody was asking for me to be "pvp enabled"
Great laugh though! Best thing though was that most of the people in the zone i didnt recognise!

I do wonder if this is in the wrong part of the Forum, I get the feeling the European Lounge isn't looked at by the Red names, might be wrong, but maybe it should have been posted in the general one.
I was hoping for a boxed set and an influx of new players, but I guess I was hoping for too much. I've not felt Doom before and I don't like the feeling now

I'm saddened by the lack of a boxed set for the EU. I was hoping the presence on the games shop shelves would mean a new influx of players. Seems like an odd sales strategy not advertising your game.
It also explains why when I've asked in shops if they have a release date for GR they can't find one. Meaning players who have left will have no idea there is something new to come back for. Poor show.

Looks like I did find a "push this button" bind for it after all! (providing you have a Target)
/bind KEY "+$$++first$$follow"
Make sure you have any object/player/foe targeted, and press KEY.
Note: There is no need to press the key twice. The release of the key re-runs the command again which automatically stops following and returns you back to third person view. The trick works the same whether you are standing still, walking, running, jumping, or even flying.
As long as you have a target, your view will instantly reset to camera-origin when you press KEY.

I'm wondering about timescales, if they continue the CB for as long as usual and then have an OB will they have time for a CB and OB of Demon Summoning? After all it's due out in April and here we are mid March.
Of course there may be no CB/OB for Demon Summoning in which case it's all mute. -
I like the suggestion, would help a lot of new players and hopefully thats what we'll see after July when GR hits the shelves.

I know that the "Page Down" key recenters your view behind your character in the left/right plane. Is there a slash command or key that centers the view in the up/down plane?

So you could just leave it a year and you might get it for less than free! of course everyone else will have played it to death by then so don't expect to find teams.

It's 1st March and I've checked (again) to see if I can pre order GR from the official shop today and I can't see it anywhere. Can anyone point me to a thread about this or where I can pre order?
