I have seen many a stalker fool for stalker traps such as standing on caltraps and then complain about how its not fair and they should fight properly.
I dont know if I should laugh or cry at such people.

The Bait
One of my personal favourites. I'm squishy, my slows are annoying so people want to take me down, I have no self heal. How do I make myself useful? Cannon fodder
Nothing better than getting that scrapper to come chasing after me and running round the corner into a massacre. Why aren't these used more as setting up sacrificial lambs seems under utilised(though the hospital rez makes people less likely to risk themselves nowadays, way to make zones more 'fun' Cryptic)

Done this with my brother and I in SC. Me, a fire/dev with tactics, him an elec/dev without tactics, so i can see the stalker he cant. Near the boat in the water at the villain base. DarkSiren Tps my bro onto the boat and tries to hold him, bro reacts just fast enough to SS backwards and land right next to me. 2 stalker i see rush him and take him out as Dark also got a few attacks off. Down goes my brothers char... but the stalker are not expecting me to have been beside him, and both go up in flames as the 8 or so plus trip mines ive been stacking explode
Which reminds me
Trip Mine Cheaters
Yes, i have had this come across from stalkers that are in SC, when i put down some mines and then see if anyone is willing enough (and lacking in perception enough) to take a kill on a lone blaster. More often than not a stalker will land near by, so the scurry from point to point whilst getting closer thing, then rush in hitting BU for an AS. Its about now the mines go off Unless they have alot of luck on their side, eh Gutts
Cant remember any really funny pvp stories, but i did get a nice 2-shot kill on a stone tanker with my puny dom
after a short bout with a scrapper [he legged it coz i had him perma TK'ed] a friendly little stone tanker started flying after me, i managed to lead him up to the map roof, used levitate to knock off his fly, turned my own fly off then on just before i hit the floor, power blast to the face while the poor guy had 1hp.
fun times.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered...
I'm in Bloody Bay and I've been following a Troller/Tank duo, killing each a couple of times, when the Tank comes on broadcast, saying "I'm doing the meteor mission, please don't kill me." Having tried the firebase with an empathy defender, I have some, umm, empathy for his situation, so I broadcast, "Ok."
So I find which fire base they're using and I stand around, watching the pair, spamming /whoall in case anyone new appears.
One /whoall shows a new hero - a blaster who I've met before and has +perception, can fly, (I can't), and has flaming arrows that knock hide down for ages. Basically, this blaster is a bit challenging.
So I'm about to bounce off and go look for [blaster], when the Troller, who I'm four feet from, goes into the Recall Friend animation. No prizes for guessing who appears from the ether, right in front of my face.
Delivery, for Ms Stalker!
Pick Your Target Carefully
One I had to give applause to. A ninja mastermind. Who'd named all his minions with his hero name. and was wearing the same costume (more or less) as one of his minions. 7 targets. All more or less the same from normal ranged combat distances. All fast-moving. Can be got around if you know what to look for and look carefully, but sometimes in the zone, you just don't have time for slow and careful.
Kudos, I liked that idea...

But... his name would be orange and his minions would be blue/white whatever.
Getting Kills You Shouldn't
This one was a while back now and in Sirens. Search showed no villains in there so me and a stalker friend went to do some badging. As soon as we enter, we see why it's quiet as there are 9 heroes camping the villain base.
Seems like, despite the numbers, they were a bit PvP noobish and were all from the same SG. When they see us, the name calling begins as we're called cowards, etc. for not rushing in 9 on 2. After a bit of thought, we buff up and pop some purples and reds, having identified the empath and rad with them and go charging in. Taking them by surprise, we drop the rad and empath before they can do much and also get the troller into the bargain. Running out of the hospital hell for leather, we then take down 3 blasters who stupidly have no mez protection or BF's, before buying it and making the other blaster leg it. Straight back out and the scrappers next(thank god he wasn't a regen), taking him down just as the first three we killed come rushing back for more killing with the 'brave' blaster alongside. Blaster, empath and troller are taken down and run back out the hospital to polish off the tank who had been ignored up to this point.
By now, we're both flat out of insps and expecting a beating when they come back. No chance, rather than regroup, they all come hurtling to the villain base nicely spread out due to the different times they died and different speed travel powers and are simply AS'd and scourged in their ones and twos. Racked up about 20 rep points in about 30 minutes and a nice little pile of bounty before they thought to regroup and when we saw 7 of them heading in together(blaster and rad had left after the initial rout), we just went to cashout and the pair of us started chatting over broadcast.
'So Scar, that's a couple of SO's we picked up there. Which one you going for?'
'Hmm, decisions, decisions. Maybe we should go back out there and get another couple off them?'
Of course, we then got a bit too full of ourselves and tried to rout them again but it was less than successful with no insps and them being ready this time. Was quite funny seeing how that small victory for them suddenly turned us back into 'noobs' over broadcast when the kill ratio was something like 20-9 in our favour when we were outnumbered 9 to 2 or 7 to 2 for the entire fight
NOTE: The only reason this was possible was due to our proximity to the hospital meaning we had little downtime while they had huge distances to travel. With the 1HP change, any advantage you may have as a defender to try and turn things round is gone so that would have been a frustrating gank session. Good way to make things 'fun' by the Dev's there.

Got told my scrapper was bull[bleep] last night after a /rad corrupter locked his debuffs on me and i proceeded to chase him around RV chopping him up and not missing a single hit

When my stalker hit 20 (and well before his much needed respec) I snuck up on a tank, nice and quiet like.... ASSASSIN STRIKE!! a MISS!?!?! I proceeded to slash and swipe and .... brawl to no avail.
He turned to me and said "Didn't realise I had an itch there" and he didn't even put me out of my misery
When my end ran out, I couldn't help but sit there and lol with him, it was hilarious.

Aye, you need to find the one with one name rather than two. Which, as I say, isn't always a trivial job in a fast-moving combat.

Heh, I just had to post this here. I was in Sirens with my stalker recently, and one scrapper was apparently developing a grudge towards me. I noticed that he had come to the villain base possibly looking for me and had arrogantly jumped on the metal walkway overlooking the villain base, staring intently at the villain hospital.
I approached from behind and - web grenaded him. Now he couldnt jump away from the walkway, and couldnt go sideways either as those directions were guarded by drones. Then I noticed a large herd of arachnos troops scuttling towards him. I helped his self-imposed demise with a couple well placed strikes. Lesson: Watch where you step
"My own sick satisfaction
I don't know why, I really don't, but for some reason I get a some real sick sense of glee from dropping fliers with snow storm. Nothing in PvP gives me as much pleasure as seeing the flying blaster or PA dropper hovering over the baying mob of meat head builds(tanks, scrappers, brutes, stalkers) picking his shots and safe in the sky from his inherent squishiness. Then you drop the sucker in the middle of that mob and watch then all turn from the high HP target they were fighting to the suddenly vulnerable easy meat that has dropped in on them like mana from heaven

In warburg tonightI was called a "lamer" by a rad defender because I ran off the debuffs on me through the safe zone, a fair tactic I felt as with each hit she would run into the blue and heal. Due to the fact that I dont take random tells of abuse well a prompt ignoring took place and I swapped alts as I normally do for a bit of variety and proceeded to carry on PVPing with copious amounts of killing the aforementioned defender. Of course this rad defender seemed to take exception to the fact that I dont like abusive tells and/or the fact that I ignored her and then proceeded to follow me around latching debuffs on me the moment i left the boat. So i notified the rest of my team to her behaviour and logged on my stalker, cue many more defender deaths.
Of course I didnt get around to ignoring the person on all of my alts and i proceeded to get another insulting tell with a threat that she was going to get her dominator on me lol That just cracked me up

Dateline: Erm, today, this afternoon (ish)
Location: Onion Sirens
A little tale I like to call:
The Heroes Who Ganked Me
Faffing around in sirens this afternoon provided me with some lovely PVP moments. All the classics were there (Heroes outnumbering villains - check. Me out of breakfrees - check. Lots of Trollers/+per - check. A Warshade with a geordie themed name - check)
Had great fun bouncing around trying to solo scrappers in the middle of the mass of the hero hordes by slapping on some delicious rad debuffery, usually resulting in instadeath. Sadly, no defenders took up my offer of them letting me kill them... Was a lot of fun, but the best bit...
A certain warshade (you all know who) was performing their jester routine for the slightly bored crowds. The familiar tpfoe glimmer, and shock horror - I'm actually not in the mob! The jester, building up his routine, busts my non-existant mezz protection (i couldn't be bothered to go to sharkhead to buy any BFs) and instead of leaving me to pick up some debt, actually killed me himself!
I know, I was as shocked as anyone, and remarked as such over broadcast. Still, credit where credit is due, he did admit that he was a little stale, which had me in stiches!
My Brute met a Warshade in Sirens today. They were randomly shooting MM pets while in squiddy form so I flew up after him and hit him, he tried to run and I gave chase. He landed on a building and instead of turning into a Dwarf he goes back to human and teleports away. Guess he couldn't stand up to me.
Geordie themed named? I think you'd better go back and study Geography. Or Geodieography. Probably both.

2. Wolviston is not in Tyneside.
I realise that technically these are the same point, but it was such an importnat one I thought it was worth mentioning twice.
