I remember bases being something to persuade people to buy CoV, they were a transport hub (which are kinda redundant now that everyone has Ouroboros and there are multiple ways of getting between zones) somewhere to store storage and they were supposed to be a new way to PvP, which flopped.

Maybe they'll bring out apartments for Heroes/Villains to customise in a similar way to what they did with Bases and only give access if they have Going Rogue.

What is the story behind Malaise?

Being a long time player of CoH I know that Malaise used to stand in Independance Port when Sister Psyche's body was in the hospital and her mind was sharing Aurora Borealis' body.
After Sister Psyche got her own body back, Malaise disappered and I'd heard that he'd gone evil again. He shows up in the 4th Shadow Shards TF as an AV. Is this the Preatorian Malaise (who is definatly evil) or the Malaise that was stood in IP? Malaise also shows up in the Recluse SF as a member of the Vindicators, so can't be all bad.

I'm guessing you'll save this answer for just before Going Rogue comes out :P

I logged in today to find I had the 48 Month Veteren Reward, so 'Yay' and I picked the Red Wisp Pet, I activated it and selected More Info (after right clicking on it). My game then crashed lol, just verifying my game and going to go on a different character to see if the other pets have the same problem.

I see City of Heroes: Architect Edition has just been released, no sign of it in Europe though.

The main reason I play is for PvP as well, saying 95% of the game isn't PvP just shows how little you know. To be able to PvP everyone has to PvE, which means we must have tried the rest of game. PvPers have a better idea of what makes up the game. As they have tried all aspects (including PvP), farmers are usually people who want to level quickly or who want to skip parts of the game because they have played it so many times.

I don't think playing since the game came out would make someone elite. The game has changed so much that only the stuff that was introduced in the last few issues are relevant. Apart from that it should be upto peers and general opinion on whether you are a good player or not. Self given elitism is delusions of grandeur.

I'm currently in a mission, on the office map and theres lots of pedestrians running round. I think the Devs should do something with them and they should be more than just comedy/for effect. Make a mini game out of them - bonus points for clicking them, then they disappear. Or have them hand out insp.

Some of the skill is knowing how to get easy kills, I agree with what you've said though. I am currently in the process of optimising a character for Warburg fights, buying all the level 40 IOs so I have set bonuses at that level. Then when PvP is at its most balanced I can tip the scales in my favour.

I want more dance emotes lol. Self Destruct looks good, shame it doesn't cause damage to everyone watching

If you go into a PvP zone expecting to be able to have a chance against groups of enemies or veterans then yes it is incredibly frustrating. I know quite a few players that don't hold this misconception and enjoy PvP for what it is, these are the players that improve and work their way up.

The best defence against ganking is run the other way.
