I too have fallen in love with Seeds of Confusion - the moment I lost my heart to it coming on a mayhem, when I saw a simply HUGE mob of Longbow and, with domination up, fired seeds in and they simply shredded themselves.

I didn't take spores, because I've had bad experiences with AoE sleeps before.

Like Alvan, I read the thread about how gimped Dominators are and thought I'd make my own. I only got to start with her yesterday, but I think it's the fastest I've ever got to level 7 and that was without doing any missions or teaming.

Thanks to my Altism I had to make the thing on Deviant, so I'm hoping that PVP isn't totally devoid of life by the time I hit the requisite level.

Gutts is about the best stalker I've seen, yes, with Faith right up there too.

I could say that regens rarely cause me a problem, because I land AS and then it's a matter of if my pre-queued Lunge lands faster than you can react and hit DP/IH/whatever, which it usually does.

Of course, that only works on Regens who are standing still and only bad regens do that.

(And I think the Weasel means stealth and not hide - I don't mind being seen, but my screen has to say "Hidden" or my attacks are garbage. I'm not EM.)

Stalkers are overpowered in BB, yes. The good Stalkers are good in Sirens, the bad Stalkers, aren't. The Stalker balance tips further against them in WB and the Stalkers in RV, well, they're all hunting badges and prestige along with everyone else.

I have an SR stalker with two slotted attacks and about everything else I can find thrown into defence, so I am mostly unconcerned by your PBAoE.

The most useful thing about the PBAoE is the "MISS" on your screen, which reminds you that you shouldn't have stopped moving.

And if he who moaned loudest got things nerfed, then Stalkers would be wielding nothing more fearsome than a feather duster and be forced to move about zones beneath a giant pink neon sign, flashing "Get It Here."

Again though, tactics are fine when you're talking about Stalkers. If I use the environment to sneak up on you, then clear mind just means you're going to have an untroubled passage to the afterlife as I push an enormous, poison-filled spine through your face.

If a Dom uses the environment to oh-so-tactically sneak up on a toon similarly-spammed with CM, then they're still going to acheive very little, because most of their toys are negated by the 6x10²³ applications of purple-noggin.

The Clear Mind issue isn't entirely to do with Stalkers. It makes a Stalker's life more difficult, but it can make a Dominator almost useless, as few if any of their powers work through spammed CM.

I struck the motherlode tonight. Five kills, three of whom called me a n00b, while the fourth obviously had me mixed up with someone else, because my name isn't Richard...

The only one who didn't say anything was the Christmas Ornament Troller sitting in her PFF, till that bubble burst.

So, Godfall, it really is something you're just going to have to learn to laugh off, until the Def Buffs on Hide include protection again n00b Accusations.

Oh it has Build Up, (but not Aim, I think), but I thought he might want to save it for when his defiance is up.
