Very nice costume, but now I'm really confused about COX's Terms of Service. Specifically, a couple of times I've had my character's costume genericized by a GM because it looked 'too close' to some existing comic book character.

I had always assumed that we could put together any design we wanted using the costume parts available to us and, as long as we didn't use an infringing name, that was fine.

So can we do non-comic book characters like a Dr. Frank N Furter as long as we choose a non-infringing name?

What exactly *is* the policy anyway? I'm tired of losing theme or homage characters...

the policy is if some busybody informer petitions you you're hosed because the room temperature IQ policy enforcers generic first and ask questions later.

some folk have no better use for their time than snitching on fellow gamers having a bit of harmless fun.

If it's really blatant (Claw/Regen W0lv3r1n3) you'll get the costume genericed as well as the name. I still have my "Bride" from Kill Bill in the yellow jump suit ungenericed, but I don't play her much so I'm not tempting fate.

Likewise, my Omega Red tribute has been ungenericed for sometime...if it gets petitioned and it's blatant you might lose it. If it's closer to a 'homage' you might get away with it.

Either way, it's always safer to just be creative over a pastiche.

Huh, does that mean no new i16 info today? This week?

The pack is all good n all... but I figured positron's twitter message was referring to the i16 updates and figured it was fairly reliable. Now BaB is hinting at something juicy, but only "by" Comic con which isn't this week so.. =/

(Do they ever do new issue announcements on thurs or fri btw?, cause if so I guess I can live with that)

Somehow I knew they'd wait to "flip the switch" until after I left for work. At least I was able to use my phone to buy it (and post this) so it'll be ready and waiting when I get home.

This booster pack is a total rip off. They are charging $10 to do something that should have been built into the tailor to begin with.

Frankly, I don't see how you guys can stand for this.

The costume sucks. The animations are cool, but the gender change? THat should have been available all along.

MC Soft = Sony now I guess...no, wait...at least Sony gives you a bigger world with each paid expansion...and more levels.

RIP OFF
