  1. FYI: Secret world you can swap servers (or could last I was on a few months back).
I am also a Myrdinn there.

On SWTOR (crap, got to reinstall that now), I'm on Corellian Run, all the Lockhart Legacy toons are mine.
  2. Myrdinn

    Thank you

We still have eighty-odd days yet.

I know you have the hero in real life job thing going; some of us will still be hitting the runs for our in-game fix.

Drop on by, let's push the servers until they turn 'em off!

    Goodbye CoH

When I lost the Kauri server back in the SWG days, we had such a last blast for bragging rights:
instead of kicking a person when they are down, consider picking them back up, dusting off the clothes, and having one last good fire of a time.
  4. The Good Fight: you fought it.
The Honorable Fight: you have proved it.

The Standup, Awesomesauce: you allowed our currently inactive folks to come back and say "hey" to us once again?! Haha!

Whatever passes for brains, hearts, and other organs in NCSoft, know you have the actuality.

May you and yours never have concern for worry. Until the next time, /salute War Witch.
  5. Dangit. Finally got the tri-corner hat...
.../salute to those who finally brought it about, may ye (indeed all devs, art and otherwise) be well blessed and taken care for in the future.

Heck, I'll even sacrifice one of his costumes, for some pasties. See you in game, once I get home.

Black Pebble, thanks for the event ya'll pulled out the stops on last night. Appreciate that (wish I hadn't been traveling)!
  7. /salute

Posted in another thread this, but, well...

PRIME! You call yourself Freedom, but you are still the most Prime of all the Primeals.

Do not go into the night quietly. Do not go into the night silently. Do not go into the night as a small, still shadow.

Blaze. Whatever they do to the servers, go so strongly we light up the heavens. So boldly the seas cease. Make the devil dance our tunes, and have the angels for the backdrop.

I call for the Monday Runs to fight and fight our last runs well. I say, burn that mothership in raids so everyone remembers. Send that hami down to the BBQ shack. Remind the Romans that there is another empire that surpasses them. Kick that 5th in the teeth until they all start filling out voter registration cards and never consider totalarian views again.

Play well, play strong, and remember who we are.
  8. /salute and /beer for whomever got the tricorner hat done!

Hahah! Very, very, very, very, very cool!
  9. You lovely wonderful bloody awesome folks!

I see that tri-corner hat has finally becometh real!!!
If you ever drop by my way, I so owe whomever arranged that (and made it) a round of drinks!!!!

    HAHA! AWESOME AND THANKS!!!!

Incest taboos based solely on closeness of relations rather than living in the same household is a very modern convention based on a misunderstanding of genetics that come from the fascination with certain European royal lineages.

Before the modern knowledge of genetics, no humans would think it might be a bad thing if they mated with a close relation they did not grow up with in the same household, for they would have no reason to. And now that we have the scientific reason to give us pause... it's widely misunderstood and applied incorrectly.
As another Southerner, it is usually "fourth plus cousin, okay, first to third, no."
Also of note, no matter the geographic area, in urban settings, many fourth cousins marry simply because (1) they don't keep track out to fourth cousins and (2) in those areas, one usually marries within five blocks from where you live.

Guess what that equates out to? Southerners (with their genealogical research leanings) just have a tendency to know exactly who they are marrying.

Edit: side note: I only remember the leggy redhead's scenes. X-)

Not a bad idea. I never played the game, so I don't know where the storyline went...
...but the trailer almost tempted me a while back. Intriguing storyline thought... but, I have foresworn anything SOE related and will never followed up on where they went.

As a movie divorced from a MMO (and from SOE), heck yes. I'd see that movie.
  13. Tri. Corner. Hats. Wear 'em reversible and forward. Think 19-century (and not the buccaneer hats, more revolutionary George-Washington patriot-y or His Majesty's Naval tradition hat)!

    /been askin' since 2004.
  14. *gah*

And I can't buy the retro set without signing into the game (shouldn't do that at work. The astechs (assistant techs) would get all... grumpy)!

    gar! *glare*

Anyway you can get these and the brain-in-a-bottle (think tank parts) combined? I'd like to mix and match between the two head/detail sets.

-*sigh* and my Ice/Ice troller is becoming more and more "Mr. Freeze" than "Professor Iceflow" with every passing day... weird how the subconscious works (I didn't realize how closely the concepts were, until I thought "hey, the head in the bubble would be perfect, instead of the brain and the eyes!" and then realized the obvious connection).
  16. Might be better to ask for exactly a memorial garden. A collection of all the dead heroes in one spot...

...perhaps even as a backdrop to another death-themed TF/Trial.

Edit: The Boulevard of Heroes as well as scattered monuments that we have now. Sorta like what Praetoria has, but somewhere Well-themed.
  17. I *will* be there, just really, really late.
(new dang farking Policy professor has verbally stuttered over the same point for a good hour, now.)
  18. I'd like a try.
    Myrdinn

Ageless Core, Assault Core, Grav Core, Ion Core, Seers Radial. (Obviously Cardiac Core)
    All Tier IV.

He understands nobles as he's seen it from their perspective.
He understands the watch as he's seen it from their perspective.
He understands the wildlings as he's seen it from their perspective.
I suspect Jon will be seeing things from the white walkers side of the situation soon, after all, he's seen it from everyone else's side already, right?

    So maybe he is dead.

Then again, all the Stark kids are idiots (Bran is a scumbag, not an idiot), with the exception of Arya, and deserve what they get.
Vhat about a Baratheon? Been a while since I read all the books, but it always struck me odd that ol' Ed would have an illegitimate kid. And, well... kind fits if he was taking the fall or helping Robert (and never told Robert about one of Rob's kids, so Robert would always think it was Ed's).

Thanks for the playtime, Freedom Horde!
    :-S
I vas the other defeat... something about jumping a 'troller into a group of ten mobs and then saying "oh, wait, where did my inspiration screen go... better find that..." somewhat limits one's survivability. :-/
  21. I'm about 99.999% certain I'll be there with either Myrdinn or Myrdinn Dark (unless you need Myred or Angus).
  22. I cannot; as soon as I get off work Wednesday, I will be driving to a family member's funeral (the funeral itself is early on Thursday, just a bit of a distance from where I live). :-(
  23. I am stuck at work and will not make it :-(

(down to two fulltimers, and, well. Matter, fans, annoyances).
  24. Very cool!
(I'm trying hard to be here all wednesdays. :-S )
  25. :-( Sorry, I was still in Flint at the time (and, none of the cousins there seem to have an internet connection of late).
