Carnival of Shadows: They just look more like a group that superheroes should be fighting. Outlandish, colorful, and yes the women are sexy. And they have that delicious scream when you knock some of them off. I'll choose one of these missions any chance I get, even street sweeping.
Devouring Earth: I love the idea of that they are essentially of the Earth and trying to save it from the virus that is humanity. And something about the Lesser and Greater Devoured that I really like the look of. I'll fight them at any opportunity, I even have a Praetorian character who is sworn to destroy them all. Too bad we can't fight them in Praetoria....yet.
Nemesis: They just look cool
Banished Pantheon: Zombies and shaman, nuff said. -

I'm not seeing the firefly or snow auras.

Knighthand or Knight Hand
Evokes night by sound, but Knight as in Dark Knight. Also sort of refers to his dark power coming from his hands. -
What, no bandages that look like bacon? I've heard such things exist.

Meh, it did nothing for me. The animation reminds me too much of a plethora of Saturday morning kids shows that I loathe. Did they at least say dragon daddy can assume human form or something? It was pretty much the elephant in the room for the whole movie for me, except the 20 minutes or so I missed in the middle.

Thanks from me as well, that was pretty cool. Though I suppose I'm used to Robin being more of a take charge leader than he seemed in this, he came across too young here. Looking forward to them working in more characters, Miss Martian and Artemis for certain and hopefully Wonder Girl and others as well. Not crazy about Kid Flash sporting the Impulse goggles.
Anybody notice that Zatarra was a league member? Seems pretty obvious that's a setup for his daughter Zatanna to appear later on as a possible new member. When I first saw that devil guy's silhouette, I thought it was Kid Devil or something. Looking forward to seeing more episodes, and I love that they don't shy away from having the league make appearances. I suspect that lots of teen characters will make appearances, sidekicks and offspring of the heroes and villains. I read that they had 50 or 60 to choose from to make their team, had no idea there were that many in the DCU.
Gotta go back and watch some JLU now that I've got my fires stoked. -
I don't expect Red Arrow to actually join the team, if what I've read is correct and Artemis will be their archer.
I missed the show, anybody know if it can be watched online anywhere? -
From personal experience, Intel integrated media accelerator is not ideal for CoH. I had a laptop with that as its graphic processor and it barely handled the game at the lowest settings, forget Ultra mode. And the 2 GB of ram, really should have 3 or ideally 4.

Most people don't take the whole week off, or business would shut down the whole week. I know where I work we're limited to how many can take vacation in a specific department at one time so we don't compromise our productivity. I'd say most (exempting retail, emergency and food service) get off the four day weekend.

Nice dodging of the questions. Basically it boils down to this:
Post: Other games graphics leave you in the dust, are you planning more than Ultra Mode?
WW: Ultra mode looks nice, doesn't it?
Post: CoV had way more new costumes than Going Rogue, what's up with that?
WW: The GR costumes look nice, don't they? -
Are people actually getting issue 19? I continue to get one for 18 nearly every time I log out.
-
-
Looks like components for crafting Alpha slot enhancements will only come from task forces.
-
There's a link to Incarnate system info on the log in screen now, takes you to a Going Rogue page listing several of the slots names.

Quote:I've done it at least 3 times, always saying its for issue 18 too.Oddly enough, I downloaded the preload twice. I specifically made sure to download it on Saturday. All 182 megabytes downloaded. Then when I logged off yesterday, it downloaded the Issue 19 preload again, all 182 megabytes. After it finished, I checked the City of Heroes game directory, and there was only one 182 megabyte file in the directory. Weird.
-
Why is it that I've gone through the download 3 times after logging out? Didn't seem to be any problem, other than it saying it was the predownload for issue 18.
-
And that did what for our characters? Zilch, nada, nichts, nuttin'. The update for building and such was very nice, looks great. But my character is the most important thing in the game, as is each and every other players' characters. The horrible low res textures on tons of the costume pieces is an eyesore and could more than use an update.

My top picks, some of which have already been mentioned:
Batman: Hush
Crisis on Infinite Earths
Kingdom Come
The Great Darkness Saga
The Dark Phoenix Saga
Days of Future Past
Teen Titans: Judas Contract
Camelot 3000 -
Downloading now, but the screen is telling me that it's Issue 18: Shades of Grey.
