Wow, this is pretty unexpected. You can get the KR bank mission flight pack at around that same level anyway, but having something like SJ at 6 is just awesome. Rock!
Also, does that mean a tailor session token, or a whole 'nother slot? The previous ones were a token, I thought...
It means a slot as in on the character select screen, not a costume. A whole 'nother super!
I am confused. Is it simply that we can get access to a higher tier before the usual level reqs (ie. 14) but we still need the prerequisite powers? Or is the one power prerequisite (hover, air sup) for flight no longer needed after 60 vet?

I feel like 57 is just boring. No one who has played for 57 months can't afford tailoring fees. 60 seems to have questionable balancing issues depending on where things turn out.
Additionally, I feel like every major announcement lately needs immediate clarification on this, that, and the other thing.

Wow. I'm not getting the 60 Month Veteran Reward hotness until November. 
There are many of my characters that would love the extra power pick from being able to skip out on Combat Jumping, Hover, etc.

Count me as a fan of the 60 month badge as well. It almost doesn't matter to me what the 57 month badge is if that's what comes after!

[/ QUOTE ]I dont see how its unbalancing considering we can buy fly on villainside at lvl 1 or buy fly with real money at lvl 1 both sides. I figured this would come but not as a vet reward or this soon.

Yes. I have all character slots unlocked on the only server I play on, so future year-mark Veteran badges won't really do me any good as far as additional character slots go.

It's balance altering for those getting power pool travel powers (that is, the slottable, free ones that 98% of us use). Supposing they mean people don't have to take a pre-req that is a pretty huge change (esp. for pre-20 and exemp builds).
If getting travel powers pre-20 were a non-issue then people wouldn't be all hot-under-the-collar for this as they are presently.
Still, I am guessing that this announce is saying (despite its wording) that flight, "superleap", etc. are available as early as 8 with a prereq ... that just seems more sensible of a change to me.

REALLY surprised that the power pool thing was posted without a clarification. Rather vague wording.
It *seems* like it's meant to mean that we can choose any of the powers from the travel pools at level 6 WITHOUT a prereq.
If it's anything other than that - ie. just unlocking the 2,3 @ 6 but still requiring a tier 1,2 prereq (so 8 would be min for fly, sj, tp, ss) then that's much less interesting.
Based on the wording, it seems to me like it could be either.

I dont read this as "pick your travel power at level 6" i read it as: you can pick a pre-req at six and then your travel power at 8 ("early on") where otherwise you would have to wait to 14.

Seriously. I'm not usually one to complain about free stuff, but I'm struggling to think of any instance where I would get any use out of either of these.
Given how excited other people are, I hope I'll find it more fun than it sounds.

Actually, it means you can SKIP taking the first or second power in the Travel Power Pools and, at level 6, pick the travel power immediately. No pre-requisites.

That said, December will be full of awesome for CoX this year. I think MA should tide me over, though.

Not really, the temp powers are great for newer players.

I think its a great reward! Especially as it makes those characters that I wish to have more than one travel power much more viable. Or, I could grab acrobatics without taking any other leaping.
