Well it was a massive party and I know many others will be posting pictures, but I figured I'd do it now while I was thinking about it.
The Pingu's kicked off the 4th Anniversary of the Craziest Bunch of Debt Magnets Ever Assembled in fine fashion; giving away billions in cash and prizes to 50s and lowbies alike. Races, Costumes Contests and Strange Games were in abundance. It was a wonderful time and I was so glad to be a part of it.

I have it slotted in BU on my Archer. It doesn't happen often, but watching it proc right before Rain of Arrows just makes me giggle like madman... of which I am NOT!
-
Well, seeing as servers are down... can that mean that they are patching the new sexy to Paragon City? Can that PLEASE mean that when servers come back I can buy my robes?

Well, I was intrigued by the name so I had to go try it. Tongue in cheek (and various other places) with custom mobs to cause you to blush. I enjoyed it so much, I needed a cold shower afterwards. -

I personally am in huge favor for this idea. I am also in favor of some sort of metric or standard to be in place that sets a guideline for ideas like this.
One of the concepts behind an MMO is that it is a virtual space where widely separate groups and people congregate and form friendships/bonds/relationships/etc. As an player run event, Tanker Tuesday has demonstrably done so as shown by its long running continuously high attendance.
Secondly, the idea that Paragon is changing and evolving is not a new concept. Even the developers like to to put in construction before something new is added. This is simply that, a physical marker of something that has happened. It would appear that with the dev's support of things like PERC and the many times that developers have shown up at events to pass out yellow names and to basically be seen, that they are all in favor of a robust and thriving community. With something like Tanker Tuesday that is a very long running, positive, cross Supergroup, cross level-range, and arguably cross server, it showcases exactly what makes City of Heroes so great. People who show up just to have fun and make friends.
So yes, I wholeheartedly support a Tanker Tuesday plague. I am also in support of any other long running, upstanding community event to receive like tokens of thanks from the developers. For thats what Tanker Tuesday is, a show of support and fun from people who love this game.
Tanker Tuesday will be there with or without a plaque, cause thats what it is. Its gonna be the first in and the last out, and I'm gonna go roll up another alt tank eight hours before cause I have a new concept for one. Show up tonight and you'll find out what it is. Trust me, I'll lead the lowbie tanks in a merry dance. Its what I do most TTs! -
See, that was very insightful to me. I'm what I consider a small time player. Yes, I have lots of inf (to me, sitting on 600+ mil and a decent stock) but I'm not a hardcore marketeer.
To bring it back to an old post, I'm Smart/Lazy. I dabble just enough to keep myself in the lifestyle to which I'm accustomed.
I think the research was well done, your write-up was insightful but not boring. Once again, I praise the market community for sharing information; not distorting it. -

Again, switch to the villain version of the forum. You might not like the color scheme, but at least you don't have to put up with seeing "Thanks beta testers" every time you click.
[/ QUOTE ]
I would really like to but my work blocks the CoV forum.
[ QUOTE ]
Your request was denied because its content categorization: "Games", is explicitly denied by [workplacename] acceptable use policies
[/ QUOTE ]
So according to my employer CoV forums are a game but CoH forums are serious business?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well if by the fact that some take themselves WAY too seriously, then yes. Forums are serious business.
Now watch, this won't post because they want to thank the beta testers. -
It means a slot as in on the character select screen, not a costume. A whole 'nother super!
-
If this is still available, I'd like to buy in. I'll bid 300M influence on Champion if the option and a spot is still available. If not... oh well.

Welcome to the Loony Bin, Bruce
With such a long history with P&P games, what are your biggest challenges when designing story lines for a MMO?
Do you prefer Blue or Red?
(Trying to brainstorm potential Signature Characters for Bruce) -
We're pulling for you. Take it easy and eat lots.

Well, its worked for me on my wife's previous two pregnancies. And that fact that she just read it over my shoulder and laughed and agreed with me says that it was mostly correct... in her case.
But remember folks, each pregneant lady is different. Find what works best with the care and feeding of your pregneant lady. -
Its a fact of life. Pregnant women love pedicures. One, it makes them feel pretty (at least their feet). Two, its a foot massage that I don't have to give them. Three, its a massaging chair.
Guys should love her getting pedicures. One, they feel pretty (you might get laid). Two, you suggested it/paid for it so your caring and sensitive. Three, she's out of the house for an hour or so and you can play video games or something. -
2 daughters
Nora: 21 months old. Loves music and dancing. She was dancing even before she could walk. Is utterly convinced that if she just looks at you *just* right, she'll get what she wants. Mostly becaue she is very cute and and it works on my parents.
Lily: 5 months old. Already trying to crawl. Loves to smile. Watches the world with an air of "I know whats going on" she really shouldn't have yet.
Im already preparing my den for when they bring boys home. I have my awards on the walls, various war trophies from differnt missions, and my combat knife collection displayed on the walls, right next to my certificate of completion for urban warfare and IED making school. -
Looking for Stabby, but I think they left the game
