So in an effort to prepare for the upcoming Closed Beta our boards experienced a lapse in service today and have been rolled back to approximately 12:00 noon PST.

We apologize for any inconvenience or lost posts from the window between noon and now.

I will be posting a notice shortly of another maintenance that is scheduled for tomorrow AM to finish the rest of this process.

Thank you again for your continued support of our product.

CoH boards are still acting funky. CoV boards are fine.

I don't believe this was a "lapse in service."

The boards are a service.

The errors we were (or in some cases are) seeing are, by definition, a lapse in that service. One which was giving me "Database error only visible to administrators." And which leaves me unable to get in on the COH side, but perfectly fine on the COV board URL.

What do you *think* it is otherwise?

(Edit to add note about COH/COV board discrepancy.)

Heheh....if it's true, Castle is probably bellowing out an evil laugh right now as he erases my name from the closed beta list for pointing this out. Doh!

Yeah, thanks for quoting from before I asked Jobu for help. Now I'll never get into closed beta ... probably never be able to hit a curveball, either.

Which also kills the idea that the ones who went anonymous were part *of* prior closed betas, since we met Sunstorm in the last one. (Dont' recall if Synapse posted, I think so.)

Still getting the message every few pages, refreahing helps. Cleared all cookies and cashes, but to no avail. It's working better, so perfection can wait till maintenance I'm sure. We love you Ex, no worries.

Switch over to the villain version of the forum. The error only shows up if you use the Hero skin.
