NECRO! <3 -
I agree with Roy. I'm over this issue...NEXT! The Maf and I handled the Reichman TF redside 1st try, but I can tell ya that it is 2x as long as the hero TF to which I call BS. Also, I don't think Reichman would be able to off 8 full-grown villains with one move, but meh.
In other news, I did the new hero TF in 48 minutes yesterday with r0y's son as the main tank. Gamer-kid > developers. What are you feeding that boy, r0y? -

Building a Legacy
Tunnelvision. In relationships it is considered a bad thing, but in CoX it provides a clarity of vision that ensures years of enjoyment. In this case, my vision was to build a group of strong ideals that could tackle any challenge and emerge on top. Thus, The Darque Mafia was born.
We have completed every task in this game from the orignal LRSF (before the nerf) to the CoP trial. We have tangled with great SG's and VG's in Warburg, base raids, and the arena. Sometimes we have stomped the competition, but always we have strived to conduct ourselves with the integrity and honor that is rarely found in MMORPG groups.
It is the team dynamic; the camaraderie, that keeps us engaged. In addition to our fellow players, the Mafia has always been a tight-knit group. We talk on the phone, help each other out financially, and sometimes visit in person. We enjoy honing tactics, pushing the envelope, crushing the competition; any challenge that can set us apart from the hundreds of other groups on this server. We keep playing for the community and each other; providing a familiar name for returning players and a standard of excellence for play-style that others can count on.
We can only hope for improvements to and a revival of the SG/VG system. Prestige is useless in the magnitude with which we possess it. Base raiding and the CoP is not an option, thus a top ten rank on the SG/VG roster means nothing more than our earning power. Popularity and fame is determined by player-created events instead of an in-game function. I started out to create a legacy, and we have, but it is one that will fade into the ethos when the familiar players have gone. All we have to remember our achievements are FRAPS videos. When we leave the game will forget us, other groups will surpass our earning potential, and better PvP'ers will emerge. A true legacy cannot die; cannot fade with time; it is remembered and celebrated. This is what we long for. Abandon all hope ye who enter here. There is no renown to be found. -
Don't whine about something that lowers the price of these drops for everyone and provides stock on the market at a constant rate.
The equation is simple, people farm PvP IO in (lets say) bloody bay, they are level 50 so for X # of hours they are not gaining exp while you are doing missions, then the time comes where you want to slot your toons and WHALAA, tons of PvP IO's ready and waiting on the market at an affordable price. You slot out, go to BB and pwn face 2x faster with your uuber IO's (provided to you at a reduced price by farmers), kill all the farmers to get your righteous revenge, and you have fun and profit. Problem, I think not. -
I will really miss you Ex.

Try my "B for Bandana"! It is a medium-sized tribute to the movie V for Vendetta with tons of well-written copy and an epic ending mission.

Still getting the message every few pages, refreahing helps. Cleared all cookies and cashes, but to no avail. It's working better, so perfection can wait till maintenance I'm sure. We love you Ex, no worries.

After reading through this thread I feel like we have our bases covered. I simply want to add additional weight in favor the following suggestions:
- "Choose your own adventure" missions.
- Balancing PPp's against EPp's.
- Giving stalkers a PvE buff (expecially against AV's/EB's).
- IoP's
- Red-side equivilant to Empaths.
- Market balancing (something that costs 40m on heroes should not cost 80m on villains). -
Get "Flip4Mac" thats what I use to view WMV/WMA's on my mac.

I love love love the lvl up boost!

If there is a SG anywhere on any server that is still barely active and possesses an IoP then THIS would be the time to speak up!!!
I'll travel to any server and make a run on an IoP for the badge, if anybody can let me know they own one!
I had no idea there were a few still laying around...

Check the badger section of the forums, dolly. There's an SG on Infinity that still has theirs right now, iirc.

The Infinity SG in question refuses to conduct base raids for that very reason. They have been able to claim that they are one of the only remaining SGs left with an IoP and did not want to risk losing it. Guess they wont have to worry about that any more

I have run over 30 raids for this badge since christmas. I have one of the last IoP's and I have been making that badge available as a christmas gift this year. The last raid is on THIS Wednesday at 9pm EST conducted by Nericus (forum name) for villains and myself for heroes. If you want the badge...I assume this is your last chance.

To work...or not to work...that is the question.
