Issue 12 Discussion: Major Gameplay Improvements
Is the City Vault going to be part of this? Just curious. This is more than enough without it.
* Eight configurable new power trays let players customize their User Interface by placing them anywhere on the screen.
* Contact display redesign: Contacts are now listed separately as Active and Inactive, and players can sort contacts by a range of criteria including Name, Zone, and Level Range.
* Inspiration Conversion: Right click an inspiration to convert three of that kind into any one inspiration of another kind.
* Level Up Boost: Upon reaching enough XP to level up (at all levels), one of each type of large inspiration is immediately cast upon your character, and health and endurance bars are immediately filled.
* Chat improvements: Right click on character names in chat window to ignore, add to friends list, invite to team, etc. Drag any item (enhancement, inspiration, salvage, etc.) into the chat window so that you and others can click a hotlink to view the complete info box.
* More Real Numbers: Players can now display stats on powers before they choose them enabling more informed power selection and new temporary powers allow players to display enemy stats.

And I remember when they were talking about EXP smoothing seeing something about some kind of prestige/inf fix in the next issue.

At first I just thought this was weird, but now that I think about it, this could be really useful for a lot of ATs. For instance, my regen scrapper NEVER uses greens or blues, so they end up clogging the tray. Converting those to purples = love.

Unexpected and largely benign but welcome improvement. What happens if there isn't room for all the insps? Which insps take priority?

Also, I'm really liking the sound of inspiration conversion. I'm always ending up with a bunch of insps that I don't actually need, when what I really want is (x). Looking forward to trying this out.
Any chance while your working on chat to oh, say, add scroll locking so when you scroll up it stays there instead of bouncing to the bottom with each new message? That would be really great....

oh, I also hope Inspiration Conversion works while you're dead. Might be a way to scrounge up an Awaken when you really need one.

There is no up teiring, its 3 of the same inspiration for another in the same tier. Also, you cannot make non-standard insps like Ambrosia.

This will be nice if 50s can also get an occasional buff. Start filling the XP bar and when it reaches the end, throw the buff and reset the bar even without the Level-Up.

I assume that it means another kind, but what I wonder about is what tier the new one will be. If I combine 3 large yellows to get a purp, does that mean I get a large purp? What if I combine one of each tier? Either way, the days of "anyone have a wakie" in the sewers appear to be coming to an end. And that's a good thing.
How about a mini-ding, like when you fill up one pip or bar of xp your health and end get refilled? That'd be great too!
pohsyb you need to be in the game...Villians get missions from a radio and T.V. heroes should get a guy in a box that gives them missions.
Maybe a Rikti in "disguise".
