Well, its not like they're writing a new system for the new forums. They're just using an existing, proven product. I understand that transferring stuff over from this board to the other takes time, but I'm somewhat astounded at how long its taking.

Again, switch to the villain version of the forum. You might not like the color scheme, but at least you don't have to put up with seeing "Thanks beta testers" every time you click.

So according to my employer CoV forums are a game but CoH forums are serious business?

There is an issue with using the buton in the Forum header to switch between skins. While on the CoH forums and I click the button I'm booted back to the City of Heroes website.

Well if by the fact that some take themselves WAY too seriously, then yes. Forums are serious business.
Now watch, this won't post because they want to thank the beta testers.
Could this closed beta testing be a new expansion perhaps? I don't recall them holding close betas for issues, please correct me if I'm wrong (which I probably am). Maybe we'll be seeing a new surprise coming that will rival the competition.

If you are getting the "Thanks beta testers! See you again soon!" message, refreshing the page a few times will workaround it in most cases. It's annoying, but you'll get where you need to go for the most part.
