The "you've found my weakness" bit has me very hopeful for this movie. If he does that more often than just the one scene, it will be the first time in silver screen history that Spider-Man has the right personality.

Zwill,
You forgot "Who was the surprise of karaoke?" and "On a scale of 1-10, would you like to see Positron performing a Ke$ha song?" -
Hey!
Is anyone here in Cali with me?
Are you going to game night this evening? -

Quote:Bales has been working in the industry for 11 years, and now serves as the director of product development at Paragon Studios, which manages the superhero MMO City of Heroes and is working on two unannounced titles. -
I'm very late to this party, but that's probably good for the sake of my emotional stability.
Jake was a great kid. I'm glad to have known him. I chatted with him on Steam (mobile) a few days before he passed. It was a friendly conversation, but my phone battery died. I wish I would have touched based with him at least one more time.
We will miss you Kickblast. I wish I could find another pic besides this one you sent me.

Quote:Short and sweet. Thanks A-ville!Follow the leader, mainly. Different servers are using slightly different tactics. On Triumph, we're currently using the limited attacker approach. That approach is basically:
1. Limit the number of people attacking Antimatter, so they can stay away from each other's entanglements and better avoid obliteration patches (not essential, but helps with preventing deaths).
2. Use a heal team that focuses on healing anyone that either takes a big hit from AM or gets disintegrated.
3. Everyone else dies on reactor three and stays in the hospital. That keeps them away from disintegration, away from obliteration, but they can still earn the badge.
To get the badge, get on a good Loves a Challenge team and either die on command and stay in the hospital, or be a really good on the spot healer, or be an attacker against Antimatter that can avoid getting killed by obliteration, disintegration, and Antimatter himself.
The requirements for the badge basically are, in the last phase against Antimatter himself a) don't die and b) don't destroy the terminals that regen him (meaning, you have to let him heal to full all three times).
I really want to get into the swing of COH again, and getting a tough badge under my belt will help. -
Is there a guide for what I should do to get this thing?

I resubbed just because the initial announcement was clear that being VIP had more value than ever.
Thanks for making it even more clear and getting me even more excited for where COH is headed! -
I resubbed and am in the process of learning what I missed because of the announcement.
I also have n00bs coming to join me from the office.
As long as we can get some fun things going on a consistent basis with non-baddies (like I had on my first run of one of the trials last night =0), I'm up for leading events again. -

What the bloody hell?
I'm guessing it's a MEGA-late April Fool's joke.
Alright, alright, I'm HOPING it's a that. -

I wonder if showing you guys what I did on our forums will get this thread deleted.

Gratz B!
We're getting one in two weeks.
Shepherd / Sheltie mix. I'll post pics when she gets here. -
Quote:The crap that people asked and the pointless responses in that HeroCon video is pretty much what got me looking for something else to play.It doesn't matter what you ask them, your answer is either going to be a dodge, market-speak, or this, unless your question is something really obvious you could've found in 5 seconds on the wiki.
Still, when I watch videos of the Q&A sessions and someone asks something like "Are we getting more costumes," I want to strangle them, so you might as well ask something good even if they won't answer it.
Question 1 - Good - Deflected
Question 2 - Bad - A joke that was made was better than this Q/A.
Question 3 - Terrible - The question had been answered multiple times before he asked it.
Question 4 - Good - Answered
Question 5 - Good-ish - Deflected
Question 6 / 7 - Good - Answered / Stupid - Deflected (but who cares)
Question 8 - Good - No Answer (Like they had not thought of it until recently)
Question 9 - Okay - Deflected
Question 10 - Good and Obviously A Hot-Topic - Big Deflect (16 months later and still no word.)
Question 11 / 12 - Good - Huge Deflect (16 months later and still no word.) / Good - Answered
Question 13 /14 - Terrible (Surprised?) - Joke...But it was completely warranted. / Good? - Deflected
Question 15 - Good - Answered-ish
Question 16 - Good - Deflected (16 months later and still no word.) -

Quote:This.Z,
Castle and Posi said they were working on objective-based pvp a few months after i13.
Is that code still around somewhere?
I admit I've barely ever tried to be a srs bzns COH PvPer, but this would make me at least try to get better at it. Team Deathmatch is about the most boring concept for PvP imaginable. What exaggerates that boredom is the egregiously flawed mechanics of the i13 changes along with the ridiculous gear gap for COH PvP. Those are the two things that really stood out to me when I tried to get into PvP (right around the time i13 was in beta...ugh).
Two things will get me into COH PvP for a very long time.
1. Objective-Based Matches - I have close, personal contacts in the industry for this if Paragon needs some consultation / feedback. (They'll do it for free as long as you give them a PR nod.)
2. Remove the Gear Gap - Go talk to your ArenaNet buddies about this. They have a fantastic system for giving people instant PvP Characters that don't require weeks / months of aberrant farming or TOS-breaking RMT just to compete. (Read As: Awesome Micro-Transaction Opportunity for the studio instead of outside sites. (Yeah, yeah, haters gonna hate...but if more people can get into PvP faster....).
I hate to presume, but I think adding this third thing will make PvP more popular in COH.
3. In-Game Recognition - Leaderboards, Exclusive Costume and / or Base Items, etc. The sky is the limit here. Putting a SG or Squad name in lights around the Arenas will give exposure to the system for new players and a visible goal for the hardcores.
If anyone with clout is actually reading this post, please DO NOT gloss over 1 & 2 for the easy number 3.
