At last weekends Freedom Player Summit the attendees were given the opportunity to complete a survey regarding upcoming content and some general feedback about the game. We're opening this survey up to the entire Community now, so please, take about ten minutes to provide some information for us. These surveys are extremely informative to us and serve as a great reference for development and marketing planning.

Take the 2012 Freedom Player Summit survey here!

Oh, I'll take it all right...

What's "Halloween Part II"? I don't even understand this survey.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

My answers shouldn't come as a surprise - the desire for Valkyrie's broadsword as a suggestion should give my sheet away.

Thanks for making this available for those of us who weren't able to attend the event. Hope you had a nice, fun summit and are rested up for a new week.

Nice succinct survey - I know from personal experience that is hard to do sometimes.

I answered the best I could given the limitations of selections. Wish there had been a generic comment(s) option, but I also understand why there wasn't.

Thank you for making it available for those unable to attend. It is much appreciated.

Great work, Zwill. Getting this out to non-attendees quickly is much appreciated.

I really dislike the idea of selling base items in the market unless it's just a one-time fee to access things indefinitely.

Otherwise you're going to end up with ownership disputes... Who owns the snazzy 40PP arcade machine that Jim Bob the base architect added to the base, Jim Bob or the group's Super Leader?

I did not, but now I wish I did. That's a damn good suggestion.

At least we know a global Midnighter Club unlock has already been talked about, and that at least its being made easier to achieve on a per-character basis in Issue 23.

After completing the survey I immediately remembered a bunch of things I forgot to mention. As per usual.

I'll add one here:

- add to the market: missing pieces for costume sets (eg. the piranha head is missing other fishy parts to make a proper fish man. Well, as proper as a fish man is, anyway).

Is there a post somewhere that explains what all of these are? I can pretty well guess at "Cyberpunk Costume": it's probably a cyberpunk costume. "Amplifiers" I am less sure about, but I could use a '64 Super Reverb if that helps.

Amplifiers are a new thing being tested in beta currently that act similarly to dual inspirations, but are long-term buffs (1, 4 and 8 hours respectively). Think of the microtransaction "potions" from other F2P games.

If they manage to keep the sales cost down and focus instead on high sales volume, I think Amplifiers will basically let them print their own money.

I'm not sure how to react and respond to question 16. Are all of those in the realm of possibility and you're looking for feedback on which you guys should do first? Or are they more like "Wouldn't it be nice if CoH had this feature"? Some of those choices were surprising. Cross-server teaming and Player Housing stuck out for me.

Gee, are we getting water blasting, affinity, and bio armor? MUHAHAHAHA.

This survey was frickin awesome.

Done. The last question I had to put other, because it is a tie between Costumes and Powers.

What do you want to see added to the store?

1. The rest of the CoT costume options.
2. The Black Knight Armor from Nightward.
3. More Powers.
4. More costumes in general.
5. Custom Power Animations
6. Custom Weapon Packs.
7. To be able to purchase anniversary badges that I already have on my account with other characters.

well took the survey, did NOT like it asking for my email address, we lose the ability to be more honest in comments, anonymous comments are some times more honest.
also saw a little bit of "nudging " in some of the questions. given the choices, instead of changing your views to fit the information, change the information to fit your views.

i was reminded of a recent ep of undercover bosses, one boss went undercover at a office and the comment was made that the region should have more local advertising. during a break between different offices, the boss said how he felt his way of advertising was better than local. at the next office several states away, one of his top earning office the same suggestion was made. He then at end of show made some money avail to try more local advertising.

my questions that were not on the survey, is why is there not any advertising done for COH?
(If I have missed any please let me know), having a player summit is fine but we are allready your players/customers.

a whole set of summer superhero movies are coming out, will there be any COH ads in the movie houses? I suspect not.Even if they could not afford a video ad, how about a cardboard standup? or even a handout flyer with the tickets?

Poz talked about individual housing an hundred years ago. Cross server teaming is surprising but when I saw it I choosed it immediatly

To be honest, by email address, we don't know you from Adam. Regardless of that, I would hope you've never felt pressured by the Development/Community team to not be honest, so long as it's presented in a respectful and constructive manner.

In other words, there's no one going through the survey results and making notes on your game account saying "this guy doesn't like new costumes" or anything of that nature. This survey has zero impact on your game account.

At the most, we might email players individually for some more detailed feedback questions. Even that is highly doubtful.
