Loves a Challenge
Aw, damn! You made me think you weren't running tonight!
Issue 16 made me feel like this.
Warning: This poster likes to play Devil's Advocate.
I wasn't intending to. Sayaki was running these.
Team 1 was the only ones attacking AM. Team 3 were healing only. Team 2 were in the hospital, with HotPepper/Smexy calling out the obliteration beams (5 seconds before they dropped).
Team 3 stayed out of sight to avoid getting caught in the initial attack from AM (the cause of the first run's failure).

Gratz on the badge. Great timing too... since there will be a new Master badge to get next week.

I wanted to be sure Triumph had people earning the Master badge before i21.
We aren't some chump server after all. We are Triumph!
There was a player that died AFTER though...
He was prolly disintegrating right as AM went down and no-one bothered healing anymore.
It may have been a closer thing than anyone realized....
But, to quote Tam, 'Pics or it didn't happen!'
So here you go.
Editing was done to circle the congratulatory badge awards, remove the tells I was receiving at the time, & to hide the name of the individual who died shortly AFTER the trial was completed.

Sadly, my wife and I are looking at the rare salvage drop with more envy then the badge. DAMN COMMONS

Perhaps I shouldn't tell you that it took three runs and that was the second rare accompanied by a VR prior...
...or that that same toon is sitting on more than 48 rares and 18 VR that he doesn't need?

So when's the next MoKeyes happening? I will want in. I know what I am supposed to do.
1. Limit the number of people attacking Antimatter, so they can stay away from each other's entanglements and better avoid obliteration patches (not essential, but helps with preventing deaths).
2. Use a heal team that focuses on healing anyone that either takes a big hit from AM or gets disintegrated.
3. Everyone else dies on reactor three and stays in the hospital. That keeps them away from disintegration, away from obliteration, but they can still earn the badge.
To get the badge, get on a good Loves a Challenge team and either die on command and stay in the hospital, or be a really good on the spot healer, or be an attacker against Antimatter that can avoid getting killed by obliteration, disintegration, and Antimatter himself.
The requirements for the badge basically are, in the last phase against Antimatter himself a) don't die and b) don't destroy the terminals that regen him (meaning, you have to let him heal to full all three times).

In one little corner of the universe, there's nothing more irritating than a misfile...
(Please support the best webcomic about a cosmic universal realignment by impaired angelic interference resulting in identity crisis angst. Or I release the pigmy water thieves.)
Follow the leader, mainly. Different servers are using slightly different tactics. On Triumph, we're currently using the limited attacker approach. That approach is basically:
I really want to get into the swing of COH again, and getting a tough badge under my belt will help.

Thanks to this group, Triumph has finally got people with the Master of Keyes badge.
For those that haven't got the badges, I (and others from this group) will help out.
Thanks all for the last 2 months at these attempts.
