I also missed the new badges this past Spring.
This morning I finished the Ganymede missions and DJ Zero told me about them. Street sweeped in Peregrine for about an hour, had several alignment tips drop, no Valentines.
Someone flip the switch! -
This is very sad news.
I've played COH since the week of release. It was my very first MMO. My namesake character still has his original costume I made 8+ years. He is still my main after all these years, but I have 30+ Level 50 characters, all on Triumph. I still enjoy still playing each and every one of them. I can't imagine not being able to play them anymore.
I formed the Fusion Force SG here on Triumph after I hit level 10 and we've been going strong ever since. We've developed into an amazing group of players and real life friends, and while we've all tried other games together, we always come back to CoH.
The game is still fun, and I wish is wasn't ending.
Thanks to the Triumph community for 8+ years of fun, friendly, often pantsless adventures!
I hope we can help send it out in style!
P.S. I picked Triumph because it was at the top of the list. -
I have been waiting on my 8 year vet badge a month now.
Finally came to the site and found this.
Very disappointed. -
Just a reminder that we will have an in-game memorial for Ren tomorrow night at 830PM Eastern at Circe Island in Talos.
After the memorial we will either have a RWZ Raid or a TPN Trial depending on the number of players that would like to join in. -
Were you with us on Triumph? Same thing happened to us.
-
We had a really great turn-out and a very smooth raid! Thanks for showing up Triumph!
-
Hope to see you there!

It is with a heavy heart that I bring you some sad news regarding a fellow COH player.
Eric Sutcliffe (@Ren Karalchin), a long-time player on Triumph, and a Captain of Fusion Force, has recently taken his own life. This news came as quite a shock to all of us.
Ren started playing CoH way back in Issue 2, and left the game just a little over a year ago. We knew he was taking a break from the game, but we all just assumed he would be back one day.
I'm sure many of you played with him before, here are a few of his L50 characters on Triumph:
Diana McNarr: Level 50 Corruptor
Egan McDowell: Level 50 Tanker
Honos: Level 50 Blaster
Jackie Kennedy': Level 50 Controller
Jeff McNarr: Level 50 Mastermind
Kate McDowell: Level 50 Defender
Lady Nina III: Level 50 Blaster
Prince Volgard: Level 50 Brute
Randi McDowell: Level 50 Defender
Ren Karalchin: Level 50 Blaster
Ren McDowell: Level 50 Controller
Rene Gade: Level 50 Brute
Rockstar Mistress: Level 50 Defender
Slice of Ren: Level 50 Scrapper
Ren led Task Forces, Strike Forces, and Trials frequently and was always willing to answer questions for new players. He was a member of Triumph Watch. He was a badge hunter and enjoyed base buildling. He enjoyed PVP as well, and if you ever got stuck in the ring with his Mastermind, Jeff McNarr, you were toast.
Ren will be missed, greatly!
Fusion Force will be having a in-game memorial to honor Ren.
Friday, December 30th
(Ren's Birthday)
8:30PM Eastern
Circe Island in Talos
Additional details TBA
Please feel free to join us if you knew Ren, teamed with him, or would just like to pay your respects.
Thanks,
Em -

This is going to be fun tonight!
A few of the Lancers are probably going to hit L50 during the Raid, including my Kin/Elec Defender, Lightspeed.
See you guys in the RWZ! -
Just posted one for next Tuesday! 10/11/11 at 8:30PM Eastern.
Hosted by the Vanguard Lancers Supergroup and lead by @Jack Virgo. -
@Jack Virgo (and the Lancers Supergroup) will be leading a RWZ Mothership Raid next Tuesday and he asked me to post about it on the Triumph Forum.
Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!

I still need Loves a Challenge also, but will be MIA this weekend.
-
Triumph Watch is great for PUG TFs, or to use to fill up an iTrial, but by no means will a global channel ever replace a Supergroup.
A Supergroup is a group of players you know you can count on, that share common interests, team up with you, talk builds, talk comics, hit Icon with, and just generally have fun with!
Doom_Ape, based on your post, you've got a very similar play time and play style to Fusion Force. Check out our website, www.fusionforce.us and if you like what you see, register and post in the New Recruit Forum.

Did anyone notice the number of new badges in Issue 21?
52
Perhaps a nod to the new DC 52? -
Really fun RWZ Raids tonight folks! Thanks for showing up!
-
Every Saturday night, Hypriconn?
I'll try to be there, and will let my SG know. -
Quote:Dr. Gemini too. Some things never change:
