Dang, the Deluxe Tux would look awesome for my villan's regular outfit.
A white Business Suit have nothing on that costume.

That would work out to be about fifteen Singapore dollars.

I could see so many other uses for fifteen dollars. I mean, I haven't purchased a rename token or server transfer because of the price. I don't even agree with the idea of gated costume options, not even the vet rewards or the capes at level 20.

I am loving the deluxe tux- two of my female characters are now wearing it.
Aveda of Flame is looking downright gothic in hers- red coat with black embroidery, chaos leather top, bridal miniskirt, with angelic plus tights underneath. Very lolita-goth if coloured and mix-and-matched right

Nothing I want in the pack, so I'm not too bothered by the price.
And I suspect what has most people kind of scratching their heads at the price is the fact that Male/Huge characters get, out of all this... a jacket. Granted the ("Nice costume. Where's the rest of it?") options for females are cool, and the jacket in question is a perfectly good jacket, but...

Watching the screen, those costumes look really nice. Though im not sure i understand the idea behinf this... They are charging $10 for a couple of costumes? i guess thats ok... but we already pay a subscription, this is not exteel.
I guess its ok if this helps cyptic somehow... though after this i will really expect more for the next issue and faster.
oh, and no, i don't think i'm going to buy this "pack", i would buy other costume packs but i find this really (an i mean REALLY) unfair for people that for some reason can't afford 10$.
I wonder what's going on with cryptic to take this desision...
subscription and paid MICRO-Conent-packs are not a good pair.
BTW, i forgot to mention 10 bucks are 30 bucks in my country.
Also.. im not saying 10 bucks is much... but it is much for 8 costumes 5 bucks would have been more apropiate, and would sure get it for that price.

That was bizarre. I didn't have any problems purchasing CoH, CoV, GvE or Guild Wars. Also, local retailer? For a costume pack? 
Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. I'm eager to get those pieces, even though they're a tad overpriced. More options for my character creator? Yes please.
The tux fits the female??? Nice! I was worried it would only fit the male! Hopefully the dresses don't fit the male... 
Looking forward already to more packs in the future. Maybe something with more variety in Beast heads, maybe with a decent gorilla head and a tiger head. And a Roman set would be cool. But I echo the cautionary comments about getting nickel and dimed for game content. For example, I think I'd get upset if I found out I'd have to pay for new powersets 2 or 3 times a year.
I don't like it. I hope these buyable packs don't become NCSoft's new favorite thing. It affects me directly - I was going to make a magician-themed character, but now I feel a bit slighted that I'll have to pay an extra $10 for a really cool tux for his costume. 
Not to mention, if they really must do it, at least give us a bit more in the pack.

Winrar of the thread. $10 for 2 costume pieces and 4 emotes? (I thought thats what I read anyway.)
Throw in some kinda jump jet or temp power I can use more often than once or twice in my toons life and you can have $10.
Gotta say I'm impressed at the zOMG~! happy people, vaguely surprising.

But I just don't see any reason I would ever need any of these.

Agreed too little for too much, mind you most people won't even check their mail I bet, half this thread are probably ncsoft employee's and I cannot wait to mock those with the silly suits that they paid for.
And as I said in the other thread, other games offer free content on seasonal occassions. Valentines is a rip-off as it is without my game trying to cash in on me.

I have exactly .017259% interest in the pack. Costumes I'm not interested in and 4 extremely limited-use emotes? It wouldn't matter to me if it were 10 bucks or 10 cents. I just can't bring myself to get all up in arms over such a remarkably minor issue.
I'm all for paying for good costumes (As a note, I'm not saying the costumes aren't well done, I'm just not into them, much less into them enough to pay for them). Personally, I"m big on capitalism. Offer a product, set a price, let the buying public sort it out.
Put out a costume pack with stuff I'd care about (hint: I'd kill, or at least seriously maim, someone for FULL Arachnos, Longbow, CoT, Tsoo and other NPC group sets...and REAL robes, I'm talking spooky sorceror robes here) and I'll pony up what I consider a reasonable amount of cash for it.
But this? The amount of whining and doom-crying are so dramatically out-of-scale for such a minor issue, it's almost funny.
Good show, NCSoft. I applaud your work on the costumes (they look spiffy as always, I'm just not interested in them for my characters) and support you in asking for what you have deemed an appropriate price for your work.
Now, make me some good robes!

Oh, and I will ask this, tongue only semi-in-cheek: why is it that the PvP community gets upgrades for free, but the RP folks have to pay 10 bucks for emotes and costumes? Are the thespian-oriented just bigger suckers? Or do they inexplicably have more cash to spare?

Spending large amounts of money on a wedding dress is a longstanding tradition among brides...

They flow from the mid-back and look much more natural than the trench coats.
