Yes. Yes it is.
Mrs. Moo directly benefits from this because she knows that lingerie purchases are always pre-approved.

For the Emporer's sake, don't you see?! Next thing you know they'll be nickel-and-diming us for everything! This is the kind of thing I thought I wouldn't have to worry about with NCsoft running the game...

I believe his worry is that if this is a success then in future we will have to pay for everything outside of the bare minimum.
I have faith that this wont happen, since it would annoy a lot of people. More packs will come, but free content will too.
Having said that, I don't think this is good value for money if you mainly play male characters, since you get two similar jackets and two emotes for $10. Hopefully in the future they will either be more content-full or be cheaper. We shall see

First thing I did on reading the email was buy the wedding pack.

Personally, I think the pack is a tad light for what it costs.

What, is a new costume pack avaliable?! I heard nothing of this, I am so behind the times.... what's in it? I looked around in Announcements, etc. and saw nothing.

I think I got shots of all the pieces. According to LH, the veil is supposed to be mostly translucent, which is going to be fixed in the near future.
It's in the announcements, and in your email (if you get email updates), and costs $9.99 plus applicable taxes. It also includes the new emotes (propose, throwrice, throwrosepetals, throwconfetti)

while it is a tad over the top in presenting a message, it does have some merit to it. has the nickel and diming begun in earnest? i'd like to have the options these costumes/emotes represent, but not at 9.99 us, being a little 'light' on the content for such a 'paypack' to say the least. will the next wedding/special event also require a nonrefundable 'gift' to access? is this going to be the preferred method of item delivery to players for their characters outside of issues?
a subscription is paid for a reason, to access the available content. this feels more like moving to a tiered system of accessibility. those with the money, have all the goodies.

There are also "married people" emotes that go with the lingerie-themed costume pieces. ;blush

@Razoras
NC Soft is a business, they have shareholders and they're under constant pressure to deliver profits.
If they can throw together a couple of costumes and a few emotes and make a profit, yes we'll see more of this kind of thing.
And as this chunk of paid content is a step down from the last one (GvE, with two costumes, a jump pack and the Pocket D teleporter), why is it unreasonable to suggest they'll test the limits of what the playerbase will cough up ten bucks for?
Yeah it's possible to take this to a paranoid extreme, but pay for extras cat is out of the bag and only a sucker thinks they won't be testing the limits of this technique.
I'm not against it- if I think it's worth ten bucks I'll but it, if I don't I won't.
But we're going to see more of these things.
If they make a good chunk on this pack, with substantially less content than the last one, who's to say the next offering won't be even more piebald.

The thing is Nethergoat I'm not to worried at this point because this patch just out is so very nice and full of good content. I'll give them a costume and emote sales pack if they continue to put out patches and issues as good as they have.

Ok, sorry if this has already been answered but when do they become available after purchasing them?
Instantantly on the live servers and a delay on the test server... forget how long there. Mind you after buying it you need to go back to account management and apply the code to your account.

...But I don't get paid until the 15th!
The ignamy! Oh, cruel fate (and Jay), how you taunt me!
Seriously, very nice work on the various costumes, Jay! I know other devs have put in serious work on the pack, but I simply can't take my eyes off of 'Hearts Plus'.
Devs and Marketing folks: Yes. Yes I will pay $9.99 for this. More content would be always nice, but considering the frequent free expansions, I feel that $9.99 is a bargain for the occasional 'Paid' pack.
As a matter of fact, if the current rate of issue release and patch updates continue, I'd personally be cool with buying a pack like this 3 or 4 times a year.
