I would like to see.
Polearms Melee for all AT's. (Bo staff, spear, quarter staff, candy cane, w/e)
Toys Mastermind. (Sending in little toy planes to bomb the baddies!)
Pirates Mastermind, YAHAR!!
Electricity Control for Doms/Trollers
Earth Assualt for Doms (To Match Earth Control)
Superspeed Melee, Teleportation Melee, A Fist-Fighting Set, etc.
I wanna see an absorbtion defensive set. Something that allows you to absorb incoming attacks and either heal yourself with them or refelct that damage back at the user. That'd be cool.
I'd kinda like to see the Devices secondary from Blasters in the hands of Doms. Or at least a variation of it. -
Anyone care to make an /EA Build? seein alot of those around and I'm loving it myself.
-
I concur. But, it will be interesting to watch the show progress into more modern cenarios.
-
Ohh ohh! me next!
But seriously, very very well done.
Are you still taking requests? -
No thanks necessary my friend.

Epic potential right here.
I'm tempted to simply copy+paste various responses to this as it's come up so many times before, but *meh*
Honestly, the trash-talking is mostly from those with the least amount of skill who've found the scissors to their rock, the paper to their scissors, or the rock to their paper, and have been worked over by everyone esle in the zone. They need the people that you bring into the zone to feel good about themselves.
So god bless you, sir. You're doing the zones a service. You keep the trash-talkers coming back by coming on the boards and whining about *your friends* getting pwnt by them.
The rest of us will keep farming you both.
Or, you know, you could've spent the amount of time you wasted making this post and actually instructed *your friends* on how to get better, how to ignore the broadcast-smacktards, how to research better power-choices, how to counter certain obvious ploys, how to work together, how to not PvE and actually embrace the dynamic world of PvP.
After all, when you fail at something, it can't possibly be YOUR fault, it must be everyone else that can actually do it. It's gotta be the other guys attitude that's got you licking pavement and frustrated as hell and running to the board in defense of *your friends* and the rough treatment they received in a PvP zone.
Did that Tsoo Sorc apologize the first time he pwnd yer [censored] by healing his mates and debuffing yer acc with his storm? Did you whine at him via broadcast or these baords when he did it? Or did you knuckle down and develop a strategy on how to beat him?
Has an AV never talked smack when he spanked yer [censored]? You whine at him?
Did it help?
Make me out to be an [censored] all you want, man. I'm just another element of the game. I'm programmed to pwn you. And *your friends*
Learn to beat me.
Whining won't help.
Yes, we need more contributing PvP'ers in the zone. Yes it would be nice if there was no smack-talking, but in my experience, the smack-talking always starts by some guy getting frustrated because he keeps trying the same thing over and over, and then [censored] when it continues to fail.
"Stop sucking, n00b!" or "You got PwNd!!!" is typically the response.
And then they come on these boards and blame the responses as the reason they won't come in the zones anymore.
Well, okay. No real loss.
I just don't feel that an increase in population at the expense of actual skill and the need to coddle the lowest common demoninator will do anything at all for PvP in this game. Either bring it, or stay the [censored] home.
PvP has a DNR tag on it's toe, or its DOA.

Could you be ANY more ignorant?
The OP's friends are getting ' pwned ' because according to him, most of them are new. New players can't just magically understand everything about PvP and not have to worry about dying frequently. They have to get out there and practice, which is exactly what they were doing. What is justified about discouraging them for trying to learn the game?
And I definately don't agree with the whole, people get frustrated and THEN the trash talking starts. 90% of the time when I go into a zone, the very first time I'm killed it's amost always followed by some thing like " Lrn2play or GTFO *Blank* " Interesting considering that was our first encounter and already they are talking as if I've done some horrible thing to them in the past.
And that is what I think the majority of the problem is. People get into PvP and ofcourse, as beginners, they don't do very well. And along comes some jerk who has nothing but rude, senseless things to say to them. Discouraging them and ultimately only doing it to make them angry. THEY in turn end up having this mentality that everyone on the opposing side is like this one jerk, and so they immediately go on the offensive verbally when they zone. THEY become a jerk much as the one that verbally abused them.
If you're PvPing with your buddies, and you talk a little smack, that's all in good fun. If you go into a zone, take out a complete stranger and proceed to mock and ridecule them over broadcast, that is nothing short of primitivism. It's childish, and uncalled for. If you are an adult playing this game, you should very well know better. Grow up.
As for the younger players, it would be good to learn humility at an early age. -

Since other people are adding in, I figure I'll give a tale of one of Stalker's children. Hope you guys like it, and don't mind it not being defender based.
A tale of one of Stalkers Children, Claw.
As mastermind had said before, stalker was strong. He struck from the shadows, and needed not the help of his siblings to complete his tasks. As time went by, Stalker had children of his own. Like the with Statemans children, his power was shattered amoungst his offspring in different forms.
His first Child, Ee-ehm, was the strongest of his kin. Her raw destructive power was unmatched, to a point where she could easily destroy the most armored of enemies without need of the element of surprise.
His second Child, Darq, used the very shadows which concealed him, to strike and blind his foes. In this way, Darq could eliminate the key targets, and continue to baffle his foes with the blinding darkness. So black was his dark grasp, that a glimpse into its depths could leave his victims shivering in terror.
His third child was a frightening creature. Its form was most distorted by the powerful poisons marching through its veins. Large obtrusions jutted from its body, and possessed the toxin which his father, Stalker, used to slowly disable the foes which managed to survive the primary attack. Though Spine seemed most strange, this one could strike from range, hurling its obtrusions in all directions, or focusing on a single target with a large spike.
The fourth child was a swift one. Wielding a steel tool, she could cut through her enemies, but should situations turn for the worst, fell back on her gift of superior defense. Her weapon was a great cutting tool, but what use is a single function tool to a child of Stalker? While using the weapon defensively, Kat Could easily avoid harm, and fight as she would.
Stalkers fifth child however, was born with no apparent special gift. Claw was mocked by the mirror worlds Freaks as Clawls, a derogatory term used to show he could not cause the same harm as his siblings. One cool evening under the red moon of the eclipse, Stalker gathered his children. He looked over them and smiled. You are my children, he declared. You each have a unique gift from me which gives you the power to defeat your enemies. Now go and show me what my gifts can do! When All but Claw had left, Stalker placed a hand upon his shoulder and asked, Why my son, do you not embrace the shadows and go with them? Father, he replied, I do not possess any gift of yours. I cannot strike down foes quickly, I cannot blind my enemies I lack the poison of Spine, and do not have the evasion of Kat. What gift could you have possibly given me?
Stalker smirked and took a step back, acknowledging his sons currently slim physique. You need many strikes to defeat your foes. You use both arms many times and take many blows before you can subdue your foe. Yes father! You see? I need a gift or I will fall behind and continue to be mocked and taunted by the others in secret! My son You already have your gift. You strike faster and more frequently that Kat, and each strike is less tiring than any of other of your siblings. In time, this gift will give you a great strength, but now, fight hard.
With hope that His father spoke the truth, Claw went out to defeat his foes. Many times he took a knee to wounds, but never to exhaustion. When he found his Sister, Ee-ehm, panting but unwounded, he asked, Are you so tired sister? You who strike down any foe in but a couple blows? Silence brother! She hissed. I may be tired, but I have defeated three foes in the time you defeat one. Claw continued, leaving his sister to rest. He came upon Kat, breathing heavily, but with much less exhaustion than her sister. Sister, you are tired as well? Kat looked at Claw, and spat upon the earth. Youve no right to judge me brother. While I am tired, I remain unscathed. You have been injured on more occasions than I, now leave me to be! Claw continued along his journey. He saw Spine and Darq in the distance, fighting through enemies and grew in frustration. Surely their gifts were better than his! Why couldnt he have been given a greater strength?
With resentment in his heart and anger in his blood, Claw entered a state that was repressed, granted from his mirror uncle, Scrapper. Claw entered the Scrapper-Lock, and began cutting through a grove of trees. Hours passed and he continued in his lock. Morning came and his siblings retreated home. Jokes of how his weakness was holding him behind floated amoungst his siblings, all the while, Stalker watched the tree grove, smiling at what he knew was to take place. Days soon turned into weeks, and his siblings grew worried. Even if they were the Spiders grandchildren, they still cared for family. They searched for days, but never found their brother. They pleaded with father Stalker to search with them, but Stalker simply smiled. He pointed out towards the horizon where the tree grove once stood, and spoke. Youre little brother disappeared into the trees almost over a week ago, but you will not recognize him children. You will not recognize his strength. His children shared a laugh and one of them spoke. Father, he is not strong, Ee-ehm is the strongest of us, and he cannot possibly compare! Stalker shook his head, speaking once more. His smile still upon his face. Go to the Tree grove and see what your weak brother has done while you all rested. Go see what strength he has gained.
The siblings looked hesitantly towards the horizon, then set off. Traveling miles to reach the grove. There they came across a great field of mulch, rotting chips of wood littering the ground. Stumps stood where a massive forest once was, and Claw, in the distance, was still whittling away at the last stump. Brother! Come home with us! Kat pleaded. Her voice was gentle and almost apologetic, but Scrapper-lock was a dangerous condition. Claw could not tell enemy from foe, and in a great swing of his now muscular arms, a force ripped through the air, Knocking Kat onto the ground. Brother! Why do you attack us!? Darq pleaded, but his call went unanswered. Claw raised his other arm and swung it, creating another burst of force. Hes gone mad! Surely father Stalker means for us to stop him! The siblings blended into the shadows, all but Ee-ehm, whos pride and power told her to charge headlong and attack.
Claw, once more, drew his arm back, and this time, swung it in a great arc at Ee-ehm. The forceful Shockwave ripped through the air, and knocked the shroud of shadows off each of his siblings. Even Kat, who was most gifted in defense, could do little to block a force like this. To end the fighting, Stalker appeared behind Claw, whos eyes slowly softened as Scrapper-lock faded. You see my children, Claws gift was not entirely his ability to fight longer, but rather to discover his own strength, his own power. But father! argued spine, His gift is like my own, he strikes from range with the sudden movement of his arms! No, Stalker shook his head and placed a hand on Claws shoulder, who looked up to his father behind him. His power was discovered, not given at birth.

d00d. u forgot MY stalker primary. Ma/ !! -crais- -
I like. ^^
here's my two cents.
This is the story of Stalker, the loneliest child of the Spider. A Black heart, does not always mean a heart of stone.
The children of the Spider, as a whole, were looked upon with disgust by the world around them. Only the Spider himself smiled upon his children, but the grin of the Spider was not as warm and welcoming as the grin of the Statesman. The grin of the Spider was wicked, filled with ill intent, for the Spider did not love his children as Statesman did. The spider simply used them as tools to strike at the children of Statesman, that he may take their beautiful city for his own. But of all the children of the Spider, it was Stalker who stood alone.
Stalker was a skilled warrior, but unlike any other. Stalker's life was lived in shadow, obfuscated from the outside world. Should he venture into the light during battle, he would surely perish. One particular son of Stalker, did not like being alone. He wished to join his siblings in battle against the children of Statesman. He wished to be welcome in their cold, bloody embrace. But such was not the way of things.
Stalker first came to his brother Brute and said to him. " Brother, you and I are alike. We fight toe to toe with our enemies, staring them in the eyes as we take their lives from them. Won't you join me in battle? " Brute simply laughed at his smaller brother, his booming voice drowning out any whispers Stalker might have been able to muster. " We are not the same brother, and I will not fight with you. You remain obscured in shadow, striking your enemy then retreating for cover until the shadows envelope you again. You are weak in comparison to me. I stand and fight where you would run away. Be gone from me brother, I will not fight with you. "
Stalker hung his head low and melded once again with the shadows. Next he came upon his sisters Dom and Corr who were facing a group of slithering snakes. Stalker left the sanctuary of his shadows and spoke to them. " Sisters! Might I join you in battle? Where you strike from a distance, I strike at knife's edge! Surely our varied methods would strengthen each other. " Stalker's sisters only laughed as they continued to pummel their reptilian foes from a distance. Dom spoke first. " Little brother, what can you do that I or my sister cannot do? You damage your foes in burst, but so can I. I can also bind my enemies that they may not harm us. There is no need for one such as you. " Next Corr spoke her words. " Little brother surely you must know that our brother Brute is a more fierce warrior than you? What can you do that he cannot do? He is tougher than you, and so long as he stands I need not worry about my own life. But you little brother, are not as strong as he, and I would surely have to watch over you as well as my sister and I. " In unison the sisters spoke. " Begone brother Stalker! We will not fight with you! "
Stalker again hung his head low and returned to his shadows. Traveling further, Stalker came upon his brother, Mastermind. Of all his siblings, stalker envied Mastermind most. Mastermind did not need his brothers or sisters in battle, he could stand alone against many foes, for his pets would protect him. Mastermind was dancing with his summons, and Stalker left the shadows and spoke with him. " Brother Mastermind, do you too hate me as my other siblings do? " Mastermind turned to his brother suprised, and stopped dancing. He dismissed his pets and began to speak. " Come sit with me brother, that we might discuss this. " Stalker and Mastermind sat together, and Mastermind began to talk. " Tell me brother, why is it you wish to fight? " Stalker thought for a moment, and spoke to his brother. " Well, for pride I suppose. And for fun. " mastermind smiled. Though his brother was forever forced to live in darkness, still he had joy. Mastermind spoke. " Yes. It is in our nature to fight. We as the children of the Spider were created that we could pose a challenge to the children of Statesman. We fight for pride, and we fight for our own enjoyment, such is the way we are. But tell me brother, who of us would win in a fight against each other? " Stalker thought for a moment. He had never considered fighting his siblings before. " Well I suppose it would be brother Brute. He is the strongest of us. " Mastermind laughed and shook his head. " Yes Brute is strong, but Brute's strength is only seen when he is consumed in battle. He must fight for a long time to become truly powerful. " Stalker thought again who would win of all his siblings, if not Brute. " Then perhaps it would be you brother, for you have many pets to guard you. " Mastermind smiled and shook his head again. " No brother, my pets take time to create and I am nothing without them. If caught in the heat of battle with no time to prepare, I would surely be defeated. " Stalker thought once more. if not Brute and if not Mastermind, then who? " Perhaps it would be sister Dom or sister Corr. Dom holds her enemies in place that they cannot attack her, and she whithers them down slowly. And sister Corr attacks from range, and can weaken her foes and strengthen herself. Surely they would win. " Mastermind shook his head again and spoke warmly to his brother. " Little brother, you truly are a fool. How can they attack what they cannot see? " Stalker was suprised by his brother's words. He had never thought of it like that. Mastermind spoke again. " Brother, of all of us, you are the deadliest. You strike without warning, and can cause more harm with but one blow than any of us can in an equal amount of time. As soon as battle begins you are ready, hidden within your shadow. If any of us were to fight with you, surely we would meet defeat. For how can we harm what we cannot see? " Mastermind smiled, and Stalker with him. " Do not harbor hate for your shadows brother, embrace them, for they are as much a part of you as my pets are of me. " Stalker smiled, and shook the hand of his brother Mastermind. " Thank you. " said Stalker, as he merged once again with his shadows.
This time, Stalker's head was held high. It did not matter if his siblings would not join him in battle, for he did not need them. Stalker could truly stand alone. He was obscured in darkness, and there he thrived. He fell opponents with a single blow. A feat unmatched by any other. The strength of his distant cousins Blaster and Scrapper was combined within him, and from the shadows it shined brighter than the brightest of stars. -
These are very good. They tell a story that is both entertaining to CO* players aswell as enlightening to others. As someone who commonly plays a stalker, I'm thinking of making an attempt at a stalker spin off written in this style. That is, ofcourse, if you wouldn't mind Jock.
~ KD, who plays the hated arch-type. -
lol i thought that was Dragonforce. Nice.
I wonder how that much knockback would do in pvp?
