Correct, the grant is a one time script thing. Basically X number of people in SG, then give X times 20,000 prestige.

The granted 20k Prestige per member is not going away if the person leaves the SG/VG after the granting is complete.

I asked LH about this before.

I won't bore you with the request for "just 3 mil flat" again, but can you answer: do trial accounts count, or not (provided they are active across that Dec 9 -> Dec 10th grant)? Do inactive paid-retail-box accounts count?

Your post(s) implies "yes" to both. I'd like clarification.

My question is..

Since we only have up to 75 members up till the release of Issue 11, then once it goes live, we can get up to 75 more members.. how much time will there be between going from 75 to 150 members before the Dec 10 prestige increase?

I ask because many groups, mine included, aren't just going to take on 75 more people in a very short amount of time. Some of us run very structured groups that many will not get the full benefits because we just don't take any and all comers. So, it seems that the only people that will benefit this prestige increase will be the prestige farming groups, rather than the RP groups..

Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I'm just trying to figure out how to fill an RP only groups roster to 150 before the prestige grant.

I think it a good idea for some folks but bad on others on debt wipe. On the SG its also good on doubling it.

Start recruiting now, and put the extra people on notice that they will be invited to the SG when the limit cap is increased, or shortly after. You can have a bunch of folks lined up to join at a moments notice.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

It would be somewhat underhanded, but you could do massive invites just before Dec. 10, and then kick them once you get the prestige . . .

If your group is established, ask your coalition partners.

My hero group has coalitioned with 10 other groups. Sure, we might share accounts between the two or three, but the characters could do creation to bring up ranks.

Also, check with the forums....I'm pretty sure there is "come on in, grab a chair, and wait till we get the cash" groups out there that will be asking for people.

Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.

To be clear, getting the other side of the game was a one time thing. If you make a new account with just CoH you will only have CoH (or vice versa for CoV).

SG members could always create an alt or two or four if they have slots to pad the count. I suspect several RO SGs will be experimenting with that tactic, although many RO members do not have slots to spare and might be reduced to offering bribes to those of us who do do make alts in their sg.

Well They're rapidly running out of time if they wish to release I11 in Fall of 07 instead of Winter.

So is it Fall or Winter for Issue 11?
