Question LH...
Does debt wipe mean that the debt is paid off or reduced to zero?? If debt is paid does that mean that I'll ding if I have enough of it? Debt is XP while exemplared to me. 
to me we need more Debt Badges.

By "clearing out any accrued debt that characters have" I think they mean "reduced to zero."

Well that would be a bag of flaming poo. I never really have debt anyway. I don't think I even have a debt badge on any of my highest characters. But for those of you who are debt machines ROCK ON!

Hmm... for $10.19 you can get a BOOK about the game, but to get a new/unopened copy of the game, you've got to slap down $29.99 ($17.99 for villains only).
I wish there was a discount option for purchase of an activation code only. Useless to buy another box.

From what I read during an official source (interview or posting, I forget which), Issue 11 would not come out the week of Thanksgiving, and they were figuring on the week prior or the week after. Which means either this week or the end of November. I'm guessing the last week of November myself.

You're missing the used and new links where you can find other vendors unloading new CoH and CoV stock for $4-$7. With shipping, it's about $10 a box. I wouldn't buy used codes, they're technically not transferrable and the old owners can call customer service and say you stole the code.

I think a flat reward regardless of SG size would be more useful. As others have pointed out the small SGs won't get as much of a bonus (between 10 and 24 my villain got 100k prestige for his VG and that's about 75% of the VGs prestige since there's onloy 3 other members) while the big SGs that will get more probably won't notice it as much unless they are mostly inactive accounts or new and went on a recruiting spree.
Of course they could encourage SGs to trim inactive members by making the reward reverse proportional: give 20k prestige for each member LESS than the new cap that the SG has, then even a SG at the old cap would get 1.5mil prestige while a 1 person SG would get just shy of 3mil

I'm not agreeing with this , but I will repeat my long-term thoughts on the SG system - small SGs get the shaft. If the FF lived in Paragon, they'd be living in a one room bedsit, not the Baxter Building. Our SGs should be called SUper ORGANISATIONS, rather, becasue the majority of them are like SHIELD, not teh X-Men. I'd like to see a comic book about a supergroup with 150 members. Well, actually, I wouldn't.

[EDIT] I'd like to qualify one of the statements up there by adding that small SGs get the shaft compartitively, if you look at whet the large SGs get. What we little uns can do is still better than nothing. It would be nice if the scaling was altered somehow in regard to base costs and prestige earning.

Hey, I'm as big a badge-ho as the next guy, but I was surprised to see a badge for debt in the first place. Frankly, those are the badges I would NEVER want to earn.
In hindsight, it was probably a bad idea to offer a reward for failure in the first place - look at what a success Blaster "Defiance" has been - but badges for working off millions of debt points worth of failures?

Well, more like it rewards a "different" kind of play than a "wrong" kind of play. We've got lots of members and we try to welcome everyone's alts and still enjoy being able to invite folks who we've played with for a while who might also have lots of alts, etcetera, and it's a pain to have to maintain (at least one) overflow-SG whose members have only limited access to the Main SG's facilities.
Of course, as stated above, our style of play does not embrace blanket recruiting. We team, we get to know folks, then we invite. If they already have a solid SG, we offer a Coalition.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Unfortuntely, a small SG getting, say, 3,000,000 Prestige might overextend its designs and find itself hard-pressed to pay the rent, but this is a welcome problem compared to staring at four blank walls with a glowing blue hole in the middle of the floor.

The simplest and best solution would be to get rid of Prestige altogether. It is now, always has been, and will remain, a rip-off; a clunky artifice to limit achievement and force continued time spent online to compensate for either/or states of earning... Influence I need to craft, or Prestige I need to support my SG?
The exchange rate is an insult to players' intelligence, and the whole idea of YET ANOTHER form of "currency" is so transparent a deception as to be absurd, yet in addition to Influence (or Infamy, a pointless piece of fluff-naming) we now have not only Prestige but "Vanguard Merits"... yawn.
Leave the Debt, Wipe the Prestige and the Merits, and make everything an Influence-based economy.
THAT'S fair to everyone; you may be behind the curve in Influence-earning to start, but you will know that every point you earn during your gameplay will be universally valid.

you can die 3 times out side a mission and get ya a nice mouth full of debt,or wait till your 50 and get the debt badge.How many badge toons you have? Maybe the other toons who arent badgers could use the "debt be gone" button.

Debt wipe means a few things -
A. It probably will delay some people from getting the debt badge.
B. Kind of a hollow (but kinda welcome) gift since debt isn't hard to rid yourself of in this game.
Prestige gift -
- Another hollow (but welcome gift) most SGs will have to learn to "live within their means" anyway so this just delays the inevitable for smaller teams and larger teams already have what they need. And w/o CoP working Bases are still just storage and travel hubs and nothing more :/
On the bright side at least we know that I-11 will go live before Dec 10th!

I ask because many groups, mine included, aren't just going to take on 75 more people in a very short amount of time. Some of us run very structured groups that many will not get the full benefits because we just don't take any and all comers. So, it seems that the only people that will benefit this prestige increase will be the prestige farming groups, rather than the RP groups..
Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I'm just trying to figure out how to fill an RP only groups roster to 150 before the prestige grant.

Assuming you have close to 75 separate members, you could always have everyone move their alts to use as fillers.
I predict that I11 will come out Nov 27. That puts it 2 weeks before the rewards and before the Xmas event
I have a level 30 Corr that I am trying to keep at the debt cap so she can stay in range as long as possible for Miracle recipes.
But like - it will take all of about 5 minutes to get her back to the debt cap after she is affected by the wipe, and that's a small inconvenience compared with 3 million Prestige.

So when this prestige grant happens on Dec 10th, does that mean it will give prestige to only toons that are ONLINE at that specific time?.....or if there just registered with the SG and are offline, then theyll recieve it?
