I'm guessing the idea there is that it gives you a lot of different TYPES of procs you could potentially slot, and then you just go for broke?
What about toggles? I've seen some damaging toggles out there, and some fear toggles. Are there good toggles for procs? -

I've actually been reading the thread about the upcoming changes to Procs in the next issue, and I'm actually really enjoying what Synapse has had to say on the matter as the discussion has continued. At this point I'm confident that I will enjoy the way things work out with the new changes, and all information I've seen so far suggests that toggles in area of effect powers will actually increase slightly in effectiveness.
Honestly, the three things that really got me interested in procs at all were the discussion on the set from the Summer Blockbuster reward set, the Synapse thread, and unlocking the interface slot on my main. -
I'm considering creating a character with the sole intent of having fun with Proc enhancements. That got me to thinking about what the best powers to put Procs in actually are, because I don't know. The builds I'm experienced with are genuinely not geared toward them.
So I put the question to you folks. For each archetype that you're comfortable speaking about, what are the best powersets for combination, and the best powers for slotting procs in? Damage procs were the original idea, but I'm interested in everything, really, this is a thought exercise first, and a build second. -
Presently level seventeen on Virtue. I'll let you know how it goes.

Alright, based on that I was inspired to alter it to this. The result appears to be permanent Chrono Shift. I like that idea.

Taking your suggestions thus far, I get the build below. Permanent hasten and permanent Far Sight are very nice, certainly. I have some things I might like to see just a bit faster, but I think I'm probably getting greedy at that point, and I should probably look at other useful things instead.
More suggestions, More Critique, this is much, much better but I don't know if it's finished.

That's an interesting build, it gave me a couple ideas. Now I know it's easier to help someone if they have a starting point, so here's the build I'm proposing for my character. At present he's level 16, and I'll definitely have to respec him when he gets to a higher level.
Suggestions, Tactics, Critique, all of it, please. I want to make this character absolutely the most useful to a team he can possibly be. I want to run Incarnate trials in pickup groups with him.

I'm really wanting to create a team-oriented character so that I can have fun leveling and playing endgame content with the largest pickup groups possible.
I like the way mind/time looks, but I don't really know the best way to go here.
Right now I was thinking I would skip Levitate, and not skip any other powers. I was thinking of taking Hasten, Recall Friend, Teleport Foe, and Long Range Teleport, as well as Conserve Power, Temporary Invulnerability, and Power Boost.
I'm open to any and all suggestions here, and I've got a fresh template open in Mids so full build and slotting goals are more than welcome. What strategies should I look for, and where should I be aiming with this one? -

Done. A difference of five points of damage, I'd rather save the endurance. Good call.

Based on these suggestions, I've made this alteration, removing the Damage/Endurance from Dark Blast and placing a regular End-Mod IO in Dark Consumption instead.
That leaves the build looking like this. Once again, Suggestions, Critiques, I've only got ten or so respec tokens on this guy, so I don't want to do this too many times.

I can see where you're going with this idea, but what would my attack chain actually BE at that point? Smite, Siphon Life, Midnight's Grasp, Dark Blast? Maybe Boxing in there somewhere?

Based on that advice I've altered things slightly to reclaim those two slots from Burnout and shift them around places that might be more useful.
I can't convince myself that removing Dark Consumption is a good idea, and I think that's because right now I'm level 50 and still having Endurance Issues.

Thank you VERY much for your response. Now I both have a good place to research, and an excellent starting point. I'll admit that Alphas didn't exist the last time I played this guy. Heck, Physical perfection didn't exist when I last played this guy. I'm going to write up a revised build based on your advice, for further critique, before I respec and get started. I might actually try out the villain side for a bit to open up Soul Mastery.

A LOT has changed since the last time I played this guy. My old build plan is irrelevant, so I had to come up with something new without really being sure how much has changed while I was gone. I mocked something up in the latest version of Mid's, I'd really like to get Critique on it, and suggestions on how to improve it. I can respec and replace as much as needed. This guy usually pairs with a controller only, so he doesn't have to keep anybody's attention, but he has to survive pretty well on his own, and he has to do plenty of damage.
Here's what I've got right now. I've only got about half of the IO sets listed, the rest I'll have to work on acquiring. Take them as a tentative goal.

I can't pretend to know, since it's always deleted by the time I click.
What I can say is that there are ways to express your opinion, and then there are ways to express your opinion. How you go about it makes all the difference in the world. -
Always keep your toggle on. Use Hasten to keep ahold of Dull Pain, Instant Healing, and MoG as often as you need them. YOu need Dull Pain five or six slotted with heal and recharge. You need heal and recharge on Reconstruction. You probably need three slots in Quickness.
While I was levelling, I made sure to take Revive as well, and always wait for Integration to finish cooldown before you Revive. You should find yourself with plenty of HP in all the tough battles, and recovering HP faster than you lose it in most other cases, augmented by reconstruction as needed, of course. -
I'm going to continue to stick with scrappers, because I love Regen.
