Quote:From the screenshots it looks like the only piece that comes off as gender specific is the skirt. The boots would have to have most of the heel taken off, but it would be a shame to see most of the pieces that the female model is showing off restricted to female characters.I will say yet again that I absolutely HATE this new policy of giving guys one set of largely unisex options and "something extra" for female players. I will continue to say that I hate it each time something cool comes along for the ladies that could easily be used by men. The ladies complaints have been heard (Baron jackets for all!), it's now time for the boys to get some love, too.

When in doubt, turn to paragon wiki: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Who_Will_Die
When you are in the appropriate zone you will see the contact on your map. Mouse over the contacts you see until you find the one that has "(Who Will Die Part 1)" beside their name. -
Quote:If you are a subscriber you are a VIP. This DOES apply to you. You WILL be able to take part in the head start. This was made clear from the moment Freedom was announced.Okay so, this doesn't apply to me then?
I'm still trying to find out info on being a VIP subscriber.
I am a 45 month vet and a PAID subscriber. <--- This does not make you a VIP, why?
So, why will I, not be able to do the head start?
Who are the VIPs, and is there a list? -
I was able to make a Time Defender no problem. I couldn't access to the store for the other powersets though.

Unless you are one of the people who does every mission and arc on the same character, many story arcs accessible through Ouroboros won't be in a character's past at all. Why should that matter for the tutorials, and not the rest of Ouroboros?

Quote:It's actually been suggested many times by many different people that each model type should have access to all costumes, instead of limiting things to a certain genders/sizes.I think it's been suggested numerous times by us female players that they should just once give US the nifty long, tailored jackets, and give you guys the hoochie-mama-sex-on-a-stick outfit.
Wait, what?? You don't want your cleavage spilling out everywhere and a big, shiny heart over your genitals? You mean... you'd feel like sleazy, underdressed, weirdo-bait? Really? Gosh! Imagine that!
I for one would love to have the option to use the blast pattern from the bottom with skin tab for my male characters. With what we have right now it looks like the hero put his destroyed tights on over a fresh pair. -
Quote:The in-game store doesn't actually exist yet. What DumpleBerry and Starpheonix are talking about is the NCSoft store, which is accessible from the Character Creation screen. You can buy respecs, charater slots, and server transfers there.I am fairly new to the game, I keep reading stuff about an in-game store. Where is this store and how do I access it?
And no I am not talking about Wentworth's Consignments.
For the actual in-game store with powersets, costume pieces and more fun in-game items you'll have to wait until i21/Freedom is released later this year. -

Quote:That is the post ZM mentioned earlier. The one where everyone saw well before October, and somehow interpreted it as in October.

Plus, wouldn't the in-game holidays for CoX mostly be real world holidays anyway?

Quote:That's a very good point. If the badge is only attached to the May 27th invasion there will likely be some very angry badgers on the 28th.well if it only freedom, then how much will people be ticked if the server is full,or crashes, or the players who only play on weekends, or at a time other than the event window.,this has the potential of really blowing up in their faces, and giving the game a bad name,
or players who do NOT have char on freedom will have to create and PL to 50 to unlock incarnate, to get any kind of special incarnate rewards. -
I didn't see anyone else mention it, so I will. To access the Incarnate system you have to purchase the Going Rogue expansion. It's a very worthwhile product in it's own right though.

Quote:How about playing an MMO because it offers a specific genre and gets updated regularly with new content and systems? How many traditional PC and console games do that? What is the point of playing a MMO if you just want to play with the same people all the time?
Honestly, the MM in MMO simply means there are many players in the game. It does not mean you must interact with them, or that you are doing something wrong if you chose to ignore everyone else. -
It's the special effect attacks have aside from damage. For instance, attacks from the Sonic Attack powerset cause a small debuff to damage resistance in addition to the damage from the attack. This interface power would increase that debuff.

This depends on your server. On Victory, for instance, Pocket D is the place to go. There are typically 3+ trials forming at once there.
-
As everyone else said, find out where people are gathering on your server and go there to join a pre-formed league. The LFG tag is a great idea, but it fails because it will start a trial as soon as it has the minimum number of players required. That led to a lot of failures. Until something happens to make LFG an attractive option, it is always a better idea to find a pre-formed league.

Quote:My understand of how numbers work is clear actually. You need on average 250k inf to convert 1 shard into 1 thread, and about 2.5 million inf to convert 1 thread into 50k iXP. So, on average you need to make about 500k inf per shard in order to convert it into iXP (straight from shard to thread and from thread to iXP) as you need 10 shards in order to convert to threads. Now, as most common recipes sell to a vendor for 100k, and people have mentioned (in this very thread) that you can fill your recipes inventory twice over before getting a single shard, I'm pretty certain you can get 500k inf per shard pretty easily.
Wait, where does the 500k come from exactly?
Wouldn't you actually need to make 2.75 million per shard to convert it into XP? (250k to convert a shard into a thread + 2.5 million to convert a thread into iXP) -
Fixed that for you. Since there is no viable way to get the new powers aside from running the same 2 trials over and over and over and over and over again, yes you really do have to.
Quote:No one is forcing you to do the same thing over and over so why do you keep on moaning about it?
Quote:As someone posted once before its not the end result its the journey that counts so slow down and enjoy it .
