Occult

I was teamed with a friend last night and his costume had the cloak from the magic booster pack. I too have the magic booster pack but i'm a little peeved to find that my options as a female for the cloak are only 'plain' and 'arcane'. Why do male characters get the option of 'occult' and the female characters don't?

The costume designers are sexist. I would think it was obvious.

But honestly, I have no idea why they don't get that option. They really should.

Probably because females get the Witches outfit. Do you want to see males run around in that?

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

I would. *shrug* You asked. I can think of a ton of things I'd do with it.

I think it's been suggested numerous times by us female players that they should just once give US the nifty long, tailored jackets, and give you guys the hoochie-mama-sex-on-a-stick outfit.

Wait, what?? You don't want your cleavage spilling out everywhere and a big, shiny heart over your genitals? You mean... you'd feel like sleazy, underdressed, weirdo-bait? Really? Gosh! Imagine that!

It's actually been suggested many times by many different people that each model type should have access to all costumes, instead of limiting things to a certain genders/sizes.

I for one would love to have the option to use the blast pattern from the bottom with skin tab for my male characters. With what we have right now it looks like the hero put his destroyed tights on over a fresh pair.

Funny you should say that. I saw this earlier today and find it totally fits this convo :P

Where are we going and Why am I in this Handbasket?

HAHAHAHA! I LOVE it! I tried to make a guy toon with chest and leg slider on max, and everything else on Uber-skinny. It looked grotesque, which I don't mind, but could not come up with a bio that didn't sound just mean-spirited (which I do mind)

Bossa Nova, I hear what you are saying, but that sadlydoesn't work. What looks good on a male toon tends to look awful on a female toon, and vice versa. Esthetically, what you want for a male, is to point out the angularity and "V" shape of big shoulders, smallish waist, and small hips. Esthetically, you want the opposite on the female form - to show off the curvy "S" shapes found on a woman. Armor looks GREAT on male toons. It showcases and highlights the positives of a male form. The armor sets look awful on a woman. She looks like she's wearing a man's clothing, so what she ends up looking like is a short, weak man.

What I, and other female players often do, is pull a War Witch - use an armor or heavy leather top OR bottom, and use something from Tops (or Bottoms) With Skin. Justice (Tops) with Bikini 1 (Bottoms w/skin) is a personal favorite, for example. What we need to pull that together is more layering pieces, like the coat that was mentioned at the beginning of this thread. Trench coat and mini-vest only go so far. I loved the corset from Steampunk - it is an example of a very versatile layering piece. A little sexy, but not slutty. Perfect for me! Probably not for you, however.

To be fair we have requested "that male only slider" but the Devs seem reluctant for some reason or other

Part 1 of your suggestion I'm down with, 'cos I like women in drag. (Well, basically, that's what it is.) Part 2, however, do not want. As evidenced by the fact that they do not tint your character's vision in first-person mode, the goggles really DO do nothing.

Anyway, I suspect you may have misapprehended the game's primary target demographic. Basically, if you feel as above, you're not in it. :)
