  1. Timothy Zahn creating the script for the next Star Wars movie would actually be a very good idea. Creating a villain as good as Thrawn would certainly make the movie very memorable.

Horror Daycare. Because creepy children need love as well.

    Dishonored

Finished it yesterday and went the low chaos/stealth/non-lethal route. Killed 3 people in total. One at the start with the first mob. One in the basement of the castle with the main villian. The last is where you choose which "ally" to kill. Have to say that it has to be the most gruesome way to get rid of a body. Went with saving the person so you have to fight a supernatural entity.

Seven of Nine has the right amount of cybernetic implants. The Borg Queen being just a head and spine makes even touching her too creepy. It is doubtful that she even has the right equipment for there to be any point.
  5. The really sad thing about this episode is that we won't be able to chat about the next one except for possible spoilers since it comes around Christmas.
  6. Very cool, but I am more looking forward to the X-Com game that is set in the 1960s and is a FPS game.

Also, I call dibs on any asari that are found...giggity...
You mean accelerate to 0.99999999c, then just skip over 1c to 1.0000001c and continue accelerating.

You figured out the main reason for space exploration. To explore hot alien babes. Was going to go for the whole Star Trek quote, but that would probably be too crude for the forums.
  8. That sucks. No more Doctor Who episodes after next week until the Christmas special.
  9. Played TSW for a couple of months and quit due to finances. Will pick it up for a month for the Halloween event since you would expect an MMO that could put in creatures like Cthulu and have it make sense with the storyline of the game would make a great Halloween event. Certainly doubt there ability to make a great Valentine's day or Christmas event though.

Got to QL10 and completed the Slayer, Necromancer, and Grifter decks. Completed most missions except for some of the hard missions from the Transylvania zones. Haven't touched a dungeon yet or tried the Rocket Launcher. They certainly put effort into introducing missions with their cutscenes.

Although, auxiliary weapons appear interesting. So Rocket Launcher is released with supposedly Chainsaw on the way and there is still 2 ranged weapons to fill, 3 melee weapons to fill, and 3 magic weapons to fill. Should be an interesting game. Just too bad it doesn't have the freedom that CoH has with character customization in the costume department.

  11. Was anyone else hoping the Doctor's next companion was the crazy Dalek? Could just imagine it now. "Blast! My great weakness. Stairs." Would have certainly been fun with having a crazy dalek as the comedy relief of the show.

    Cap is president

Now if we could only get Captain America as a candidate for November's election. I would even vote for Lex Luthor in that election if he was running and I was a citizen of the United States and not Canada. Certainly would make for an interesting election, Captain America vs. Lex Luthor. Those two are much better than the ones currently running.
  13. For Feds, the earliest you can get a Carrier is at level 40. It is the Tholian Recluse Carrier and costs anywhere between 40 to 150 million EC on the exchange. The earliest a KDF can get a carrier is at the start with the Dacoit Flight Deck Cruiser. It only has one hanger and costs $10. The only free Carrier is at level 40 and is called the Vo'quv Carrier.
  14. Neverwinter will have the Foundry and apparently some of the tech it is working on will be transferred to STO. It is not even in Closed Beta yet. If you have a lifetime subscription in Star Trek Online or Champions Online, then you have access to closed beta for Neverwinter.

Apparently the Neverwinter Foundry will allow customization of interior spaces so the hope for STO players is that it will allow the customization of starship interiors.

Have no idea why Champions Online doesn't have a Foundry since it is owned by the same company that owns Star Trek Online. If Champions Online gets a Foundry, then it will be the game closest to the Architect system.
  15. There are the Carrier ships in Star Trek Online. Can have one or two hangars depending on ship and depending on hangar can have one to three ships. So you could have a total of 6 ships. There are some items that can summon a combat pet for a short time. Also, you can have a bunch of space pets follow you, but vanish when combat starts. On ground, can only have one summoned pet at a time. The Secret World can summon a bunch of pets, but they are stationary and last for a few seconds.

Was watching Wakfu a few months ago and thought Dofus is connected to it in some way. The Wakfu MMO is the sequel to Dofus.

My Email on December 9, 2008 regarding compensation says

    Dear Tabula Rasa subscriber,

As a subscriber to Tabula Rasa and a valued NCsoft® customer, we wanted to let you know about the future of the Tabula Rasa service and how this will affect your game subscription. As you may know, on February 28, 2009, we will be permanently shutting down the Tabula Rasa servers. As a result, the game will become free to play for everyone from January 10, 2009.

Your Tabula Rasa game account was recently active. We greatly appreciate your loyalty and your dedication to Tabula Rasa, and we are saddened that the service is closing. While you will no longer be able to play Tabula Rasa after February 28, 2009, we would like to offer you free access to other NCsoft titles by way of compensation.

On January 14, 2009, the below items will be listed in your '***********' PlayNC® master account, in the "Use a Serial Code" section. You can activate these codes at any time within 6 months from January 14, 2009. Please note, these serial codes can only be used on your account, and cannot be given out or applied to another PlayNC master account.

You will be receiving a City of Heroes® and Lineage® II Serial Code. Both of these serial codes will provide you with three free months of game play per game, giving you six months in total. You will be able to apply your serial codes to an existing City of Heroes or Lineage II game account, create a new game account, or upgrade a trial account and continue playing with your trial characters. You do not need a credit card to activate either serial code.

In addition, you will receive another email in 2009 with details on how to gain access to the following:

    * Aion: The Tower of Eternity Exclusive Preview (available in 2009)
    * Aion: The Tower of Eternity pre-order (available in 2009)
    * One free month of Aion: The Tower of Eternity, including digital client (available in 2009)

    IMPORTANT
To activate your serial codes, please follow the instructions found on the PlayNC Knowledge Base here:
    http://help.plaync.com/cgi-bin/playn...p?p_faqid=7047

In most cases, you will want to be sure to upgrade an existing eligible account to ensure that all of your access and bonuses are usable through the same game account.

Thank you again for your loyalty and support for Tabula Rasa, and we look forward to welcoming you into other NCsoft games.

    Regards,
    The Tabula Rasa Team.
Still have the Aion Collector's Edition code unused on my account. The announcement came Nov. 21, 2008 so that is about 2.5 weeks between the announcement and the email about rewards. Of course, it only counted people that had recently active subscribed accounts so only VIPs might be awarded anything.
  17. I believe all of us are hoping that this issue gets resolved and we can still play our characters next year with quality updates, but Cryptic seems to be a decent place for the devs to go since there must be a bunch of former colleagues there.
  18. That is really sad if true. Tabula Rasa was still updating the game till the end.

Not if the devs decide to open up the Ski Chalet since all rules Paragon Studios follow have been thrown out. They could throw in a level up contact if they want and still have permission to mess with the code.
  20. This thread is for info on what future content you would like to be revealed if the farewell announcment never happened. Hopefully, the devs can reveal some of their plans.

The info I would like to know about the most is what the other 4 Incarnate slots were supposed to be and where we were headed after Praetoria. Indepth information is not necessary, but is welcome. For example, I do not need to know about each summon in the Lore slot just that the Lore slot will allow players to summon npcs to fight for a limited amount of time.
  21. It is likely that subs will be made free. When Tabula Rasa had their server shutdown announced, we got a month or two for free, various weapons announced that were named after prominent players, new emote items, xp boosters, and a huge invasion event for the last day.

Assuming that the devs will still work on new content, then it should be an interesting few months. Of course, with the server coming down, then there is not much point to run Incarnate Trials, get badges, make new characters, or any other content.

If you want to get certain gear, then you need to PvP. Otherwise it is completely optional. The story is very good IMO.
  23. He has to be the luckiest person in the world. He was officially the first person to walk on the moon. The only people luckier than him would be the first person to walk on another planet, the first person to walk on another planet in another solar system, the first person to walk on another planet in another galaxy, and the first person to walk on another planet in another dimension. I figure by the end of this century, someone will walk on Mars and in a few hundred years someone should walk on another planet in another solar system or at least the mission will launch for it. The other two are highly unlikely to ever occur.
  24. He lived a long good life so there is nothing to be sad about.

There is an Outer Limits episode called Resurrection that has an android create a human couple to repopulate the world. Checked a couple of sites to see if it was based on something else, but didn't say.
