Now if we could only get Captain America as a candidate for November's election. I would even vote for Lex Luthor in that election if he was running and I was a citizen of the United States and not Canada. Certainly would make for an interesting election, Captain America vs. Lex Luthor. Those two are much better than the ones currently running.

And we see Cap eaten alive by special interest groups backing every other politician in the country.

A link from the Washington Post reveals a plot point for Ultimate Marvel, but I think a few people saw this coming. Ultimate Captain America has become president of the USA due to some kind of obscure legal loophole. With this being the Ultimate universe Marvel might keep this running for as long as they can.
