Dishonored

Who else got it? I got it on Tuesday, but have only had the time to play it for about 45 minutes. I've loved what I have seen; love the aesthetics and the setting, and the skills look to be really interesting. Blinking around is fun - Almost like the CoH teleport with a macro, except without the arm-waving pre-animation.

Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.

Looks interesting but I don't see a trial offered. Not risking $60 bucks if I can't test the game first to see if I like it.

Never heard of it.

REMOVE MY RECOMMENDATION!

I hit a fatal bug within the first three hours of the game, and I can't proceed. So I can't recommend the PS3 copy, but apparently the issue exists in other formats of the game as well.

I'm so angry; I was really enjoying the game.

Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.

That's too bad, when I finally got around to looking it up it looked very interesting.

But given that I was only going to rent it, I'll probably still do so.

It's a Bethesda game. Ever since Daggerfall I wait until the first patch comes out before I buy a Bethesda game... and even then, tread carefully.

In a sense, you are both right and wrong. Wrong because the game was developed by Arkane Studios and only published by Bethesda. Right because both Arkane and Bethesda are owned by ZeniMax Media.

Finished it yesterday and went the low chaos/stealth/non-lethal route. Killed 3 people in total. One at the start with the first mob. One in the basement of the castle with the main villian. The last is where you choose which "ally" to kill. Have to say that it has to be the most gruesome way to get rid of a body. Went with saving the person so you have to fight a supernatural entity.
