While I did not see this until after work, by which time it was too late, I would have thrown in... well, if I had a paypal account. (Last time I did, I had to deal with fraudulent charges placed on it and so cancelled it... once burned, twice shy as the saying goes.)
That said, I think that this is the kind of positive story that about our community that needs to be brought to the media's attention. So...
If you read this thread and work for a newspaper, TV station, any sort of news outlet, even if you just write a blog from time to time, let's get word of this out there.
Devs... can get a picture or two of this event in progress?

I would have contributed, but I work until 7PM EST and by the time I got home you guys had already overshot. Also, my phone is a piece of garbage that hates Kickstarter, anything with an Active-Update code, and apparently Paypal.
*sigh*
Next time, I'm springing for a much better phone. Also, next time set one of these donation drives up at a time when I can contribute

I didn't find out until about 3 p.m. yesterday, well after it had finished. I was a little bummed that I couldn't contribute, being at work. Then I got home and found out that my wife had donated for both of us.

That said, I am glad I managed to get in on the dinner. Enjoy your meals ladies and gentlemen. You all earned that and more for the years of great gaming you have provided, and for all your efforts to try to give us many years more (and here's hoping that that efforts will prove fruitful).

I'm one of the many who only read the Call to Action after it all ended. I would have given, too! Darn it.

*I know another poster noted he wished we could start a fund to crowd source the game. I really second that. I suspect this is pending on having some idea -- which I assume TonyV as well as others are working on -- of what goal we really need in order to buy off NC Soft.
However, I'd vote to start fundraising sooner rather than later just to give us more time to get contributions rolling. It wouldn't help much to hit a big number on 11/30 only....
Anyway, I'm glad to be yet another player who's willing to contribute and help. I can throw a couple of hundred dollars at supporting COH if it helps. It's worth it to me!

I'm poor as dirt right now and I still would have at least given $5. Next time we do something for this awesome studio, leave the donating open a little longer lol. Or maybe tell us in advance when you are going to set something up. These guys need to know how much we appreciate them, no matter how 'passionate' we got at times.

Just on one alt alone. To get that amount of entertainment watching cinema release movies would have cost me the equivalent of subscribing to this game for seventy years.
Also, by the time I had barely woken up the drive was over, so Tony's just going to have to keep stuffing food into the devs until I get in on one or Zwillinger starts to look like a turducken.
