I donated my ten bucks and all I can say is: I'm crying again with a big grin. 
I've been doing that a lot lately, this community really REALLY does exemplify what being heroes is all about.

When I saw this, I thought: oh, this is cool! I should go find my paypal info when I get home.
And then it filled up.
I hope we get a chance to have a firm number to try and crowdsource to buy the game. I think it might be surprising how much money could be raised.

I really wish I'd been able to contribute, but since the cap was reached in THREE HOURS, I didn't get much of a chance.

Was just thinking..this really shows how much we (and obviously the people who got to donate) care about 'our' game. Forgot the obvious sadness, anger and NC hate...pitching into buy the dev team (and not NC..I think any packages we sent them would get the bomb disposable treatment) a send off, from us...
Does anyone know of ANY MMO, hell, any PC game, where something similar has occured?
Wanted to contribute but was at work. Very glad that the goal was met and hope that the devs have a great time.
