While I don't agree with it being misogynistic at all, there IS another way to get the badge.

All that's required is that the person running the Grifter does things right. Everyone on the team will earn it, not just that player. I've gotten all 4 Perfect badges on one run before.

Play any of the other roles, and hope that the person playing the Grifter makes the right choices. If they do, you get the badge.

Not really. If you're trying to distract and derail someone, you don't go with the normal stuff they should be ready for. You throw them the unexpected.

With all the gating, I see them going much higher than 300M. At least for the buy it now over the first few days we're able to market them.

At least as high as the purple costume drop for the first 48 hours, i.e. we'll see many bids at around 1 billion.

Its not a great set once you hit 50

The only thing in the set worth it for a 50 is -kb if you have a kb power thats problematic

Me too - it also completes the set of events for the 4 seasons.

I have played all of my toons twice now... and no one has dropped from the team on purpose (did have a DC.. that came back).

Might I suggest you use the star system for these people who obviously have no clue that any team can do this.

My last run was a blaster (arch/dev), pvp scrap (spines/regen), me (fire/time corr), and a PB..... maybe I just have better luck?

The devs can't tackle a "kb problem" because there is no kb problem. The only kb problems I see are:
Players who have no clue how to use KB... easily remedied by teaching them.
Players who supposedly refuse to allow others who use KB... never ran into this but easily remedied by 1 starring and not teaming with them.

Neither of those things can be fixed by the devs....

Playing a character who... is playing a female... who's hitting on a girl. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with it, but it's funny.

You do need some amount of -regen or god thing and sylvia can be really problematic and slow.

and its not that it cant be done, its just that it takes twice or three times as long and its faster to drop and get a new team.

And you cant star them because, by the time you know that its a problem they left.

Yes there is a KB problem because not using a main attack because its too situational does not make you a good player, it makes you a bad player for choosing a set that you cant use your attack and you have subpar dps.

Kinetic melee is a prime example, its only got 2 aoe and 1 is so highly situational that its almost never used, occasionally it can be used to push mobs but most of the time it just sits idle in someones tray, thats NOT good play.

Changing it to KD makes the entire power and powerset MUCH MUCH MUCH more effective even for a good player.

You can. The KB problem is with player perception.

This can be fixed by making mobs that are faster to defeat when spread out than when they're bunched up.

if they are required mobs people will complain that they dont have KB, if they are optional, people will just avoid them because they are suboptimal...

I think most of everyone is missin' the point. You're not actually flirting with her. The point of the grifter was stated to stop her from gettin' to her location. Think of it this way, you're on your way to your office and some person stops to have a chat with you, then they start trying to flirt with you when you turn them down they start makin' some really nasty remarks. You get pretty ticked off and storm off and forget what you were doing. Thus the grifter regardless of sexual orientation has done their job by throwing the mark off.

Let us look at this from a calm cool rational point of view. Your character is playing a role in a movie and the script calls for the character to flirt with and then insult another actor in order to prompt the correct series of actions to move along the plot. If you refuse to say your lines or keep trying to change them after the director has chastised you .. you may find yourself fired and replaced [this is what can and does happen in the real world unless your a super star. way too many other actors available for a director to put up with crap from anyone].

Ok now lets look at it from the "I am you team mate and want to help" point of view. Each part in this mini movie requires whoever selects it to perform in a certain way.. the result if done properly is a badge (ooooooo its pretty) the RESULT if all 4 of you do things the proper way and get all 4 badges is an accolade badge (once again unless your a badger . Ooooooo that's shiny) and 5 reward merits. No I am NOT talking about one of the options you get at the end on the small reward table I am talking about an additional 5 reward merits that are awarded for getting the accolade. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but the whole event can take less than 30 minutes to complete and if you get the accolade and take the end reward of 5 merits you pick up 13 reward merits in 25 minutes or so. It takes about 45- 1 hour to do a Posi 1 TF and that awards 11.

If it upsets you so badly having to click flirt, then click say something crass and then click say something even crasser .... Pick another job. Is there another way to succeed? Frankly I doubt it and remember your on a timer with about 120 seconds to complete all assigned tasks. I doubt anyone will hate you forever but for myself I would feel bad if I goofed around knowing full well how to succeed and cost my team mates any sort of reward.
