Heh. I'd love to see a similar situation in an upcoming episode of Veep.

D'onofrio is an awesome actor....dont care what anyone says.... Any actor that can pull off what he did in Full Metal Jacket gets a pass on everything in my book.

Liam Neeson in Krull always throws me. I love the movie and all, but it's just odd. Also Anjelica Huston in the terribly corny and debatably bad sci-fi film Ice Pirates.

I had to double-check my facts, but Vincent D was also "Edgar" in MiB, and the killer ("Carl Stargher") in "The Cell". A very versatile actor.

Also found out he was in "Strange Days", a movie I have not seen in far too long.

Know who else was in Ice Pirates?

Ron Perlman.

Yup. For some reason though I don't get quite the same level of mental whiplash when I see him in a cheesy movie as I do Anjelica Huston. I think I'll blame Season of the Witch for that.

You want to add some whiplash? Know who else was in that movie?

Bruce Villanch.

His daughter is a writer on the show, according to a quick check of the internet; and we know how infallible that is. :-)

Besides, he's a VP. It's not like he has a whole lot to do. I imagine the ceiling in his office was full of pencils.

That's actually true. If you listen to the commentaries on the Futurama DVDs (which you really should if you own them, because the commentaries are fantastic) she shows up and talks about being a writer for the show and how her dad is a huge Bender fan.

Zac Effron in Firefly.

The show The Pretender is excellent for this sort of thing.

Jack Black was in the X-Files, in the same episode as Giovanni Ribisi. Jewel Staite was also in the X-Files.

(I'm doing an X-Files marathon, so I'm finding a serious plethora of young folks I recognize!)

Although I was aware they were the same actor, I was still (pleasantly) surprised that this:

Linda Hunt plays Henrietta "Hetty" Lange in NCIS: Los Angeles.

Also played Miss Schlowski in Kindergarten Cop.

Also played Shadout Mapes in Dune.

Also played Mrs. Oxheart - his mudder - in Popeye.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I found it interesting that Ray Park was the headless horseman in Sleepy Hollow. Not surprising, but interesting.
