What power do you have on auto?
I have the ability to remote start automobiles (of all types) even when they don't have a remote starter installed. It may not be the flashiest form of auto power, but boy howdy is it handy on those thirty below mornings!
Every character I have has hasten/ss, so Hasten is ususlly on auto.
On super reflexes characters I keep practiced brawler, and on shield, I keep active defenses on auto.

"Oh don't worry. I always leave things to the last moment." -- The Doctor
"Telescopes are time machines." -- Carl Sagan
for my shield users active defense
for my sr users practiced brawler
for my doms, domination (once perma dom)
everything else is just hasten on auto
I dont have any on auto, except for Practiced Brawler on my Scrapper and occasionally heal on my Empath on hard AV's and trials.
Rockshock (Druid Tanker), Medicat (Combat Medic), Dwarf From the North (Ice Mage), Rocket Gal (Energy Blaster), Graveborn (Undead Mastermind), Streeker (Punching Speedster), Op. Sidewinder (Recluse's pet Spider)
Practiced Brawler on my MA/SR. One of the few characters I would appreciate being able to mark 2 auto-fire powers for Hasten as well, but I've gotten good at monitoring its recharge.
Kuji-In Rin, Rage or Hasten.
Hasten on most of my toons that have it.
I REALLY wouldn't put Secondary Mutation on Auto.

On a side note, powers like PB and AD should be auto IMO. Most players have them perma (as they should), making it a click not only uses up the only available "auto power" option, but they also interrupt attack chains.

I tend to segregate melee and ranged attacks on my blasters. I think of myself as only doing one or the other at any given time and sometimes I get scatterbrained about it and don't switch when I should. When blasting, I like to put my faster blap move on auto so if something runs up to me I'll automatically charged brawl it or smack it with ice sword. It's effective, doesn't mess with normal play, and it reminds me to do melee stuff when I've been firing cones or dropping AoE's for the last 45min.
I would never put secondary mutation on auto, because it stops you from running.
Probably doing it wrong, but the only time I use the "auto" feature is with Taunt when my Tank is trying to keep aggro on an AV, so I don't have to remember to click it over and over and over again...

I don't actually know how to make auto work
I have heard it is ctrl-power and that puts a circle around it, but the power only seems to fire once.
SS on most of those toons. Hasten on some others. Mez protection on others. Secondary Mutation on most.
In just about all cases I turn off my powers that are on auto for raids.

Ever since I specced out of hasten (felt like it made the game too easy & was tired of the glowing golden hands) I only use it on things like "practiced brawler."

Once you're into SOs you basically have PB,AD,that Ninjitsu one perma, they should have been toggles.
I don't put anything but Practiced Brawler on auto. Every character I have (that is high enough level to reach it in their build) has Hasten, and I don't put it on auto. Actively chaining / queuing other powers interferes with auto-click, and therefore I consider it extremely unreliable. (And this sometimes bites me on PB, too.) After 8 years of play, I've just become accustomed to paying attention to my click powers and refreshing them when it makes sense to do so. For example, if Hasten expires while I am between spawns, I don't click it until I get to the next spawn.

I suppose if I ever played an Empath seriously, I might keep Healing Aura on auto, but the above applies to me in any other situation.

Having said that, I keep Vengeance on auto, because I usually forget it otherwise.
On my Click-Mezz protection characters that is on auto (Practiced Brawler etc), on my SS characters Rage is on auto. Other than that... If I have Clarion that is usually on Auto.

It drives me nuts when players put HA on auto, except maybe during a big combat. It's noisy, annoying, and doesn't display a lot of skill with the powerset.

Otherwise, Hasten is ALWAYS on auto nomatter the toon. There does come a point where the attack chain (IEverloading the KB's buffer with a million "hit them NOW" button presses) will prevent Hasten from shooting when recharged, but I normally just Esc the cue clear at that point and retarget.
Oh how i WISH They would allow me to set TWO things to Auto.
The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.
If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-
Like others have said, priority goes to the click anti-mez (Indomitable Will, Practiced Brawler, etc). If none, then Air Superiority. Unfortunately, as I continue to respec my characters to Inherent Fitness, I've had to sacrifice AS on quite a few of them. And finally, if I have it, Hasten.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
All I play are melee toons (and a single blaster.) So it is always hasten, or click mez protection.

I was just curious what others are doing. I know some do [hasten], but I almost always do [secondary mutation] of all things. The only exceptions are things like [practiced brawler] where I feel I need that on auto.
