Rocky likes to beat up Devouring Earth, hydra and shvians as they are all nature in an unnatural state, but hates Carnies for their mind control.
Mulch likes to attack any humans but hates anything that has fire in their power sets. He almost always refuses to attack his brothers of the Devouring earth.
All my toons hate going up against Freaks and CoT's, and all like the council for thier easy squishyness. -
Whilst im getting moist at the fun ill have with water blast, im content to wait a little longer for it. Nature affinity and Bio armor I have literally no interest in, but i understand that they have to work on those too.

The changes to the snipe are poor in my opinion. Even if it shoots faster every now and then, the damage is still poor. For me, a sniper attack is a instant kill, a shot meant to blow someones head apart, to take them out at range.
It doesnt do that. Im not asking for a boss to go down with one shot, but it should do a lot more damage than it does. -
I get annoyed with this too. I love the costume creator in this game and usually spend ages tinkering with my lastest creation. 1st team im in I get 2 ice buffs, that 'ready-brek' sonic buff and couple of garish fire buffs shoved on me. I cant see myself let alone my snazzy new costume. If it wasnt for the camera angle I wouldnt even know which way im facing.
I can understand the buffers wanting the visuals to remain though. As a regular buffer myself, I rely on the visuals to know if all my buffs are working and if they need redoing. you can look on the buff lists next to the team bars, but I often find them difficult to see or to diffirenciate between certain buffs of a similar type. On leagues their isnt any buff lists, so I have to guess of concentrate all my buffs onto one group or person (such as only casting fortitude on blasters etc).
On a related topic, the buff for kins is too damn loud! -
Quote:Very very true. I find it hard that anyone has problems with itrials as we very rarely have any difficulty with them over on Defiant. Leagues fill up fast (often too fast) and we have a couple of very dedicated leaders and a number of deputies who can lead if they need to. All leaders have binds to detail every part of the trial, established plans and organise teams accordingly. They also instruct people on how to set up macros for disintergration alerts (Team 1 - Rockshock - Tanker - Disintergrating!).It is hard for me to make comments about this for a few reasons.
1) I am playing in defiant and we have a certain group of people who were running all trials at certain hours each day.
They always do AFK checks before queueing for a trial, ensure that people dont move at the start in case a cutscene causes people to crash, and try to get the best possible reward for the least possible effort for everyone. We usually have a good batch of staple characters who know the trials well enough to do them without being led and who can alt to other toons to fill in power gaps.
So although its a great thing to be a leader, its even better to know that you have great team mates too! -
How DARE they put Beast in there!

If you dont know how this TF works, why are you doing the MO of it? Surely I wouldnt feel ready for an MO if I hadnt done it a few times before.

My votes are
Outcasts - harder bosses with more advanced Fire, ice and stone powers. Imps and gremlins would be good
Skuls - Necromancers and dark controllers
Clockwork - Mini gremlins and 2 of the big guys that combine like zeus titans
Carnies - Strongmen with TW and animal tamers
Malta - more heroes for hire and robots
Council - Just do SOMETHING with them!
Warriors - Animated swords and spears, more enchanted weaponry giving them powers
Family - Maybe a stalker or some guys with bigger guns
Prisoners - Have them spreading out a bit more (ie out of Brickstone) and add a few supers to their mix -
Again, no thank you, but I would like your origin to have more of an impact in the game.

I dont think the OP is asking if it will ever happen, hes just asking you to imagine a perfect world where such a think could happen and what powers you would like to see paired together. Would would absolutely LOVE to see, even if it will never happen in a squillion years!
Id like a defender tank. A toon with Empathy and Granite armour with Flurry, Spring jump, Air superiority, Kick and Boxing as attacks. I could just stand there, take all the flack and heal all the team around me! -
The only time weve heard anything is during the Plummet. Theres going to be a few months before any more information is avalible, so nothing else to report other than what youve seen at the plummet.

I dont see why you just cant make an original character. Its not hard. If you want a thor clone, just make a warmace/invun tank. He doesnt have to have a winged helmet, red cape and long blonde hair! Wont Wolverine, make a claws/regen brute. He doesnt have to be in yellow and blue spandex with a gruff attitude.
Saying that, I allow all of my characters a 'homage' costume, a costume of a famous characters that shares their powersets in some way. They may look like The Spy from TF2, or Jubilee or even mysterio, but their name and bio are completely unrelated to the original characters, and its only one costume which I can change at will. -
Id be very happy if the Aim just added the Disintergration status onto every power. Having to use disintergrate before any other combat is annoying!

Quote:Where can I find them? Need someplace or instance where I can collect their defeats for badge. Paragonwiki has nothing on this NPC group.
Thanks.
Spirit Stalkers are the faction that Shadowhunter belongs to. You can get the badge for this lot by killing shadow hunter a few times. Most people get it by accident during the magi trial.
However there is another way. Go to night ward into the south eastern corner. you'll find some burly guys with bows, some greyhound looking dogs and some really beautiful shimmering leopards. They are the Spirithunters and you can get the badge pretty quickly there.
Be warned, the dogs have rather nasty breath attacks that look like negative energy. Its not, its just black fire! So suit up for fire damage. -
I think the closest ive seen of a player statue is in WoW. Theres a statue of the first team to take down the Some big boss in Dalaran, I think.

They have updated the bill boards from time to time. The zombie control billboard in Kingsrow is fairly new. C'ptn Krakens in Talos (above police station) and the advert for Clankets (Its a cape, Its a blanket, its a Clanket!) in Skyway are even newer.

Yeah the Memorial of Breakneak is a good example. Something sentimental. Thinking about it, I think States and Sis. P would rather something small and respectful than something huge and showy.
-
Your not the only person to be sick of them, but I think that were in the minority. I personally am not that keen on end game content, and enjoy getting my lowbies up and discovering their powers. I find that really difficult to do since the time period on which I play is dedicated to itrial runs on Defiant. Most of the regular players do the itrials, which means either I play itrials to have fun with other people, or solo on my own and not have as much fun.
The people on defiant are very nice, but they can get a bit heated at someone who doesnt listen and charges into a bomb, costing an entire league the badge. Its happened before, but we didnt tear the guy a new hole, even if some wanted to. What tends to get peoples backs up are the ones that dont listen at all, despite the constant tells, and spamming of the chat channels. -
I think that, within the realms of possiblity, that well only get a couple of good things -
Minor QoL tweeks and bug fixes
War Witch reintroduced and a new TF (possibly featuring Lusca in order to tie in with Water Blast)
Water Blast and minor blaster tweeks
New incarnate trial to finish off the Praetorian arc
The start of the IP revamp (I say the start because its a damn big zone!)
Lvl 20 - 30 content in New IP. -
Although States and Sis. P are dead, they havent been utterly wiped from existance. They still have a history, friends and people that remember them. Some of us have known them for 7ish years and they are recognised figures in the CoH universe.
They should DEFINATLY have something big and showy as a memorial to them, and not just the memorial room for hero 1 that we only visit in missions. We need something that players can mourn at and to show new players the past of the game and what was the pinnicle of superheroism.
On Dungeons and dragons Online, they have a memorial to Gary Gigax. Its a mossy monument with special music, lighting and little fluttering butterflies. I know States isnt in the same league as Gigax, but we should still have one! -
Quote:I have to say that this is rubbish. Ive played the game for a fair few years (6ish I think) and almost all of my toons play at +0/x1. Its only very recently with powersets like Street Justice and Staff melee that ive been tempted to raise the rep to +1/x2. On some of my defenders / controllers ive even had to LOWER the rep to -1/x1 so that I stand a chance.Bill. Bill Bill. Sadly this is no longer Issue 5 its Issue 23 and in issue 23 only new players use a +0/x1 setting. For long time players there is absolutely no challenge in that setting for any AT let alone the dev ignored blaster.
If I enter a mission and see that the mobs are Orange or higher, I know its going to be bloody hard if not impossible to complete the mission without a season pass to the hospital.
Its probably just me, but I dont farm or min/max my toon with IO's. I dont even bother IO'ing a toon untill 50 anyway. -
My reaction to the big bad in issue one....
'Oooooh F***!' -
I tend to pick on pets that either fit thematically or fill a gap in my powerset. My blaster and my defender picked the Offensive side of the lore tree, so id have some muscle to protect me while I blast or heal from the back. My Tank picked the support side of the tree, so the support pet can stay back and heal, the blaster pet can blast while I soak up damage at the front.
