Do you have a favorite/most used origin?

Mostly magic with natural/technology a close second.

Most of my recent creations have been mutant or magic. I almost never use natural or science, just because of the backstories for my characters.

I've used all the origins on occasion, but I use magic far more than the others. It seems the most versatile. Magic comes in many forms, from self-taught magic practitioners to special heirlooms handed down through the centuries to "favors from the gods". A utility belt or "years of grueling training" or even a "special recipe of 11 herbs and spices" only gets you so far.

Magic, with Science and Tech almost tied for in second place, but still decently behind Magic. Natural trails those distantly, and Mutant has basically no representation at a mere one character (who's not even level 10).

Sometimes I'll go with a specific origin depending on my character's backstory. But other times I'll go with the Tech origin because it has my favorite origin power. So I guess my most used origin would be Tech followed up by Science and Magic.

Mutant is my usual, it pretty much covers every/any thing and works better for me since I like to flesh out bios after I've been playing any given character I make for a bit to get to know them. I have and will use others if I really know before hand I want a certain theme.

Technology. There's just something about robots/ robot AI/superpowers. All of my characters above lvl 40 are Tech, but I have a small sprinkling of Magic/ Mutation in there.

I'm big on Tech / Magic / Natural. I go by whatever is the biggest source of their abilities.

A huge percentage of my characters are natural in origin, simply because they do what they do largely via their own natural abilities. They may or may not have some tech toys or magical artifacts, but those are don't make the hero, they're just accessories.

My latest character is Tech origin. This one definitely fit, oh so naturally. A Street Juices / Energy Aura Stalker, named Ada of Lovelace. I'll leave the rest as an exercise to the reader.

I've never been fond of either mutant or science origin. Both seem rather lame to me.

I think I may be a bit Tech/Science heavy with a good number of Natural characters.

I have been considering swapping to making only Mutant characters because the SO enhancements actually tell you what they do, instead of having to fumble through colors and right clicking to remind myself which non-helpful name does what.

magic - I don't like it but it so easy to just say "magic" to explain a character

I like science and magic most, with tech a close 3rd. Mutant is uncommon, and I almost never use natural. When I do use natural, its usually aliens whose race happens to have powers naturally.

I have a relatively even number of the five origins on my roster, though I have noticed that Natural tends to be my most popular. I'm a fan of the non-super powered harass.

My most used origin is a roughly even split between Tech and Magic. I then have another roughly evenly split between Mutation and Natural. I have very few Science origin characters.

Single Target Radius = 0. AoE Non-Cone Arc = 360.

I use magic and technology more than any other origin. Natural comes in a far third. The only reason I have a single level 50 character with a science origin is because she's a Warshade. I have absolutely no character with a mutant origin.

Unless it's highly important to the story of the character in some way, Mutant is the choice. For only one reason:

It pretty blatantly says what each enhancement is when I'm getting them. I don't have to figure it out by color or right click for description or anything like that. They're the SOs of TOs simplicity.

MAGIC, on the other than... Band of this, Light of that... o.0

I don't make many tech, natural or science characters either. Usually mutant, with a nod to magic.

Not that this was ever really a problem for me, but nowadays I don't even bother with DO's and SO's and I use IO's almost exclusively.

I tend to go magic these days just because its the first origin available in RWZ or at Ghost Falcon.

Mutant for simplicity's sake as the SO tells me what they are.

Magic and Technology, most often, although I've had quite a streak of Mutants lately.

I usually pick Natural. I have a longstanding fondness for Agent Six, and at one time there was something about doing extra damage with both the Blackwand and Nemesis Staff. And also something about it having a nebulous impact on Auction House sales.

Whatever. I don't think anyone else pays any attention anyway. One of my latest new characters even mentioned the natural ability to emit inky blackness and control minds that all women have, or something similarly silly, in her bio.

Magic or science. technically a number of my magics should actually, probably be natural, since they are more unusual creatures, but normal for their type. I tend to avoid mutant, because comics have completely destroyed the definition of mutant, and really I cant rectify what i know about what a mutant is with what comics have done to the word. Tech also gets love, im a sucker for powersuit anime.
