  1. I completely agree with this. All of it.

A lot of extremely loyal customers are about to just walk away taking their wallets with them.

Longbow arrived to pick up the pieces after Vanguard dropped the ball. If anything we, the heroes, were less than heroic in that arc.
  3. I'm against any changes to Kings Row's atmosphere in any way (although, I might agree to an updating of the zone Lima AP/MI). It has its own place in the game.

However, I would absolutely support more low-level content there! The more options the better!
  4. I love all that is added to the character creator! I've gone through all 48 of my characters and updated them several times since they were first created.

    This.

On topic, I'm going to have to check that pool out. I had been under the impression that there wasn't any information out on it yet.
  6. I have a KM/SR Scrapper myself. I'd be interested in sewing what the build gurus come up with myself.
  7. I play with the sound on! ...shocking, I know.

You certainly have an interesting selection for those moments, though!
  8. It would take some excellent writing to make this something that would fit into the lore. However, if it were done it could be exciting...

If you tried to save a hero and couldn't the forums would once again explode into the cries that they did with Statesman and Psyche.

I think the best route would be some kind of stabilizing mission. The players are sent back in time to make sure that events take place the way they originally did (for better or worse). Possibly a malevolent time traveling entity is screwing with the time line?
  9. I agree! Sitter is definitely an enjoyable Task Force.

It's a good story with entertaining mission objectives and memorable characters. I enjoy the challenge of it as well as the lack of "run here, defeat 1,000 Grey."

    Exactly.

The devs said not too long ago that they are looking into snipes and nukes. If they made those powers awesome it would go a long way toward making Blasters more balanced.

As for power sets without them, I'm sure something could be done to another power to make it more effective. The last thing I want to see is Blasters gaining further defensive capabilities.

They changed both the mission and the badge to refer to Positron, even if you already had the badge.

Which, frankly I think is BS because there's no reason the mission couldn't have taken place at a point in time before Statesman died, or couldn't have kept existing as a Flashback with the changed arc granting a new badge.

    .
    Agreed.

There was no legitimate reason to change the arcs that took place before the SSA.
  12. We definitely do need a balancing of Blasters. Making Snipe Powers and Nuke Powers more efficient (and overall more worthwhile to take) is the first step. The second is to learn how to play a Blaster.

Snipe and Nuke changes will more than make up for any failings the Blaster has as their damage modifier makes these powers significantly better for them than other ATs.
  13. I really enjoy the current inherent abilities that Defenders get. They are able to solo efficiently (in most cases) and perform extremely well on teams.

The way I see it, if it's not broken don't fix it. The devs could be using that time bringing us cool new content or updating the older stuff that needs it.
  14. Interesting idea. I like the concept.

I could see it being heavy on the AoE with long recharge timers, though, it seems like it could potentially encroach too much on Assault Rifle's turf.
  15. Add me to the list of those who support VIP Tier's 9s staying the same as they are now.

As a matter of fact, I support the entire Paragon Reward system as is. It is a way for Paragon to show it's most loyal customers (whether through time or monetary investment) their gratitude.
  16. As for the looks of Shadowhunter and Penelope, I really like them. They're unique and fit the characters well.

Penelope's "spine twist," for those who are wondering, is actually accurate for an action shot of a mid-jump strike attack.

You would want the developers to choose favorites among their customers?

If you want a custom log in screen I believe that some players have been making their own. You could look into that.
  18. Agreed!

    Staff is an awesome set!
  19. I believe the most populated server is Freedom with Virtue as a close second.

Virtue is the better choice if you enjoy roleplaying while Freedom is better if your only worry is a large population.
  20. I was on that Virtue Hami Raid myself! That was more than a little obnoxious.

First the Goon Squad messes with it, which was bad enough, and then the -leader- who volunteered to be the leader throws a tantrum and runs off.

Exciting stuff. In all the years I've played that was my first Hami run, too.

Are you telling that person (and me) that we're actually NOT enjoying it? Because, if so, I've got some news you may not like.
How DARE you say you like the set?!

This is supposed to be yet another negative thread. Who do you and DK think you are coming in here with a positive review?

    ...I'm also enjoying Staff Fighting.

I'm fairly certain that this is actually against the rules of using the forum.

    Just a heads up.
