"Good" Griefing Stories
I know a guy who griefed a Hamidon raid from Peregrine Island, back in the day.

The original griefer.
I was on that Virtue Hami Raid myself! That was more than a little obnoxious.
First the Goon Squad messes with it, which was bad enough, and then the -leader- who volunteered to be the leader throws a tantrum and runs off.
Exciting stuff. In all the years I've played that was my first Hami run, too.
Are we talking about SA Goons, or just a generic "goon squad." Also, when did the Hive become a PvP zone?
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
and speaking of blast from the past, I don't think I was there for it but I just want to say Kronos titan in the Hive

That's a lot of dislikes. I don't see what's wrong with the video itself besides not showing enough footage of the actual Kronos Titan.
But what the hell?

On occasion, my friends and I do a form of griefing that involves powerset conflicts.
For example, all four of us had illusion/storm controllers, so sometimes we would team up and then invite scrappers and tanks to our team. With all the knockback and repel and wild storms ... well at least the melee guys got xp.
Ive run with a buddy once or twice in a pug where he and I used our single target intangible powers on stuff. But that was years and years ago.
But I never take it too far. I try to keep it in the "not sure if serious" level of awkwardness. Nothing overt.

I was at the Justice Hami Raid when we learned that Kronos has a hold, noob!
None of the names listed as being defeated or talking in Broadcast are familiar to me, part of why I think this was a Virtue raid.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

One possible way of "griefing" I can think of would be pulling more Monsters onto the group than the group can handle during the phase before Hami Spawns and getting all of those players killed. Even then, I'm not certain if it would be classed as "griefing" by the GM's since it would be difficult to prove that it was done intentionally to disrupt player activities (the groups are generally fighting several Monsters at once anyway, at least on Justice).
The other would be intentionally taunting Hami and pulling aggro away from the Hami Aggro team and onto either the Yellow or Green teams (Greens being most likely). But I've seen raids recover from failures after a bloom, accidental taunting of Hami or even just a loose Yellow mito.
In either situation, I don't see how that could be "killing our league".

Member of this "Goons Squad" are the kind of element that is DESTROYING our game. I have REPEATEDLY had my costume contests crashed by certain members of Goons Squad. I work very hard to put on fun, interactive community activities where many members of Virtue's vibrant furry and otherkin community can come together and share their experiences, and it is VERY FRUSTRATING to have the Goons Squad come in with their terrible costumes of nude men with butterfly wings and destroy my work!!!!!

As a handicapped person I find the OP's name to be highly offensive and I will report him/her for griefing at once

But seriously, I heard in my channels that it was just one guy running into Hami and getting himself killed over and over, away from the group. I was busy playing a staff lowbie, but how was this wiping the group?
If Ryu Planeswalker knew what he was doing, it wouldn't have turned out that way. It's an odd reverse grief, where the griefer is the one accusing others of griefing, thus ruining it for everyone else by ruining it for himself.
And if you don't like the concept of a naked butterfly man, you might need to check your prejudices at the door. Insect otherkin get trashed even worse than the usual ones, and its sad to see a community that cannot accept others for who they truly are

Needs more publius lacrimosa.
Seriously though, the only person doing the griefing was the leader, because he wasted everyone's time and then started crying and quit.
So was finally able to join a Hami Raid tonight on Virtue for the first time in months, and what happens? Goon Squad shows up. Keeps killing our league, we get disorganized, the leader ragequits, and it all spirals out of control from there.
Had no idea griefing groups were even still around in this game, especially Goon Squad. Didn't think they cared about us anymore. Anyone have any stories from the "good old days" of Hami griefing, or funny/rage-inducing stories in general?
