This kind of thing is what makes people avoid teaming with stormies, just saying. What's all in good fun to you might end up with you being quietly one-starred by your victim.

Eh, i've been playing on Virtue a fair part of the time for at least five years and haven't ever seen a futa waggling their bonus features in public. The few i noticed were primarily because i happened to read their description at random.
Overall i've probably seen at least fifty to a hundred dumb jokes about the ubiquity of futa for each time i've seen anything actually vaguely futa related. If i was actively interested in the way some apparently are i might've noticed more, but my indifference apparently shields me or something.
Probably the biggest factor is that i have never gone looking for romance in Pocket D.

Just barely, mentioned in people's bios, and it's almost exclusively restricted to Pocket D. Don't let a tiny niche like that(or the Goons) scare you away from what is definitely beyond a shadow of a doubt the game's best server.

Virtue needs to get back to the old Hami raid schedule.

I didn't form the league, I didn't bring up the Idea of a Hami raid..I stepped up to the plate when no one else would, a job that is normally handled by 4 or so people. Not that I got one bit of appreciation for it.

"hey a Hami raid, I remember when we used to do those in half an hour back in the day, meh I am not doing anything I will go help the freebies out since they can't get IOs like VIPs can"

So I had to first see if I still had the Macro's I have not used since before GR came out, then I had to see what we had for tanking/scrapping teams, and consider how new powersets would fit into the teams considering that most of the sets that were showing up were not ones that were around when I was raiding so I had to consider team builds and how to keep the scrapper/tanker teams properly outfitted, since most of the powersets that are popular these days *do not* have the single target abilities that empathy does.

The only "rage" that I was feeling was at myself, for going into a Hami raid knowing exactly what would happen...we would get a bunch of people who have no idea what they were doing and were used to just face rolling through BAF and LAM, and yet because I am apparently a glutton for punishment I decided against my better judgement to help.

Huh. Did not expect this thread to get as big as it did, especially as late as I posted it. Damage control time!
I was kinda in a rush, hence the lack of explanation. What the griefer did was jump into Hami, get the AoEs to target him, and get back to our league before they hit him, killing us with the splash and chain damage. It happened several times, and led to a general state of disorganization as we tried to scramble back form the hospital, get our buffs back up, etc. In addition, he was taunting our league and our leader in Request chat, and had a name which I don't think I'd be able to post here.
Sorry if it seemed like a hate thread. I figured I'd mention Goon Squad, since many people familiar with griefers have at least heard the name, if not had first-hand experience. I was mad, and wanted to vent, but I figured people could use this thread to share some of the stories and commiserate and/or laugh together. My bad, everyone, I didn't realize that people wouldn't appreciate this.

And while I have no idea about how this thread turned into an Anti-Virtue thread, lemme throw my two cents in: I started on Guardian, still have my original hero and villain there and bust them out for trials and the SSAs. I moved to Virtue because it's far more active, especially late night which is when I typically play. I also moved because I enjoy staying in character (or at least attempting to), and role-playing while playing. I've got no problem with the folks in Pocket D doing their thing, nor do I care about their bio. At least they attempt to stay in character, unlike on many other servers.
And Ryu: To be completely honest, that wasn't even the worst Hami raid I've ever been on :P Thanks for attempting, I would have bailed far before you did.

It's not possible to grief in this game.

What are they going to do? NOT JOIN YOUR REDSIDE DFB?

Just some common griefing that took place off the top of my head from the past:
(I didn't participate in any of the following)

-Getting confused in zone pvp, then running to atlas park to kill everyone
-Dragging Giant monsters to the court in PI and watch as they kill everyone (why do you think they added drones on the edges of the court)
-Hami Raids and the multitude of ways they were griefable.
-TPing people under a zone.

Incarnate Trial specific:
-More recent, when vote kick was bugged and was auto assigning everyones answer as yes, people could kick other people from leagues just if they didn't like them, entirely anonymous.
-Purposefully knockingback Voids in penny phase or nightmares in tilman phase can cause the trial to fail.
-running ahead in a ugt when going for the bomb badge can ruin it for everyone
-standing in the middle of the league when targetted in ugt
-standing in green stuff when going for avoids green stuff in keyes

I don't know if that's a serious question but yes. As a matter of fact, most people blatantly state they're a futa in their bios.

Fun fact: furries and futa make up about half of the typical Pocket D crowd the rest being a hodgepodge of S&M schoolgirls, vampires, werewolves, "dark and edgy" magic men, teenagers with pseudo-Japanese names and a sprinkling of people just passing through.

Anyway... more on topic, I am exclusively redside and have never had any griefing issues. For the most part,we no-good dirty villains have good manners. You get the occasional punk but they don't do much more than ramble in broadcast.

Sad to say, this is a spot-on assessment except that I dont recall ever seeing vampires in the Virtue Pocket D. Xieveral forgot the catGUYS though. I get a big kick out of those.

I never fail to be amused when I log someone into Pocket D - having parked there for the badge - and there's someone madly jumping up and down in front of me: "meep?" "meep?" "meep?" or maybe just a string of hellos.... GO. AWAY.

I see way more polite and respectful behavior redside than i EVER do on blue. There's a moral there, but I'm too tired to figure it out.

Different people have different tastes. I don't share them, myself, but I know people who do. It's probably best to try and not be outraged over other people's tastes unless they specifically intrude them on you.

....when the number of players on your side is THAT low, you can't afford to piss off anyone if you ever want to team?

I've been on Virtue for almost seven years, and I read people's descriptions constantly -- I'm all about character concepts, and I like knowing everyone else's. I have never, ever, seen a sexually explicit description. However, note that I do not go into Pocket D.

If they're out there, it's simple to avoid them.

New policy. All petitions result in an in-game GM. I've reported spammers and had GMs show up, which is why I don't report spammers any more.

Having visited the D more often, I have to say its really not that bad. YMMV, but there are quality players in there. The Hyperion Force has had a good record of recruiting new members through D RP as of late.

Yeah, I reported a bugged goldside mission the other night- I went through the map and killed every mob there, but the mission objectives were simply not showing up, so I had to call for help on that one. The GM was great, and we got the mission completed.

I think it's the new VIP support we're getting.
