  1. Are there a good amount of people actually on Beta? Like, actually enough for trials and stuff?
  2. Hamilton plays CoH?

Man I am so surpri....wait no, this makes absolute perfect sense.

I think for one of the first times ever in the history of this game the GoonSquad and the rest of this game's community are all on the same page. Our little group of misfits, casuals, power players, and RPers have literally shed tears over this thing. We do not have a "leader" but I can safely be the voice of us all this one time and say this is truly devastating. Want proof? Go to the Something Awful forums, Games, then MMO HMO section. Check our thread devoted to this game. Then read the last few pages of nothing but digital tears.

So implying we don't, or wouldn't, defend this game to it's very core is pretty harsh, even for us with our super thick skins. We love this game, it's developers, and yes....you guys. The bat-guano insane community that makes it happen. Everyone in GoonSquad would have quit long ago if it were for all the people involved in this game. EVERYONE.

We are a very close knit group and we have zero drama within our bunch believe it or not, rumors aside. I can't speak for other game's GoonSquads but our little slice on the internet has been considered the best GoonSquad ever and all of that has to do with the super cool people in it who don't "get" drama. The most drama we ever had was trying to decide if we should abandon our original servers and move to Virtue. Other than that it's all genitalia jokes, the most ridiculous costumes you can make, and number talk. I'm going to miss it.

    To all of you...

Zwill, you have another thread to post in. We are a huge sad group of pandas right now and we all want e-hugs.

Twill, I saw this pic before I realized it was you and thought "this is the baddest dude in this thread". Not a bit surprised this is actually you. And since Ultimus is attention....-ing let me find some pics without my shirt on and do the same. Only appropriate.

I dont agree with you (i do on some, definitely this one) but see your points, but I'm mainly quoting this for the awesome analogy.
  7. It definitely is something I have considered. Unfortunately I don't have a bio character on beta without redraw to test how good it is. My beta character is tw/bio and I don't even feel like testing it there. Any set witjout redraw will pair well with bio. Not sure if every set will redraw will benefit.

Which is fine by me since I'm chasing sl softcap, recharge, damage, end in that order. I wasn't aware of the 3% difference in the exotics though since I only really paid strong attention to sl in game. Ill eyeball it more now though. In defensive I should still soft cap them all.
  12. Well I'm getting the same numbers in game as I am in mids just by turning off evolving armor in mids. If you turn on EA you get your defensive adaptation numbers.

I'm at 45 sl in game and in mids, while in offensive.
  13. If you want to see your defense numbers while not in Defensive just turn Evolving Armor off.
  14. Altitis wouldn't be a problem if trials were actually fun to grnd incarnate on. WTB incarnate TFs that give trial rewards, that way I can feel useful post 50 again as opposed to being on a league and feel like I'm doing nothing with a 10b toon.
  15. I have both a SS/Fire/Soul and TW/Fire brute, similarly invested set wise. The TW/Fire does beat the SS on pylon times, haven't really measured AOE farm times, but for me to do that on the TW I have to have a flawless attack chain the entire run with zero misses, whereas the SS can have a flub here or there. The DPS difference is minimal enough to not make a big difference and it all comes down to preference. The SS is much MUCH more faceroll friendly. I got my best times with the standard TW attack chain and with BM popped was using: FT RA AOD FT CB FT. If RA would miss it would really hurt my time.

I'm looking at it from a 1 Target in range perspective.

I think it was RA-FT-AoD-CB-FT? That one requires very high recharge though.
My BM rotation if anything is pressed between last FT and BM: FT RA AOD FT CB FT WS FT

Non-BM: RA FT AOD CB FT

Three FTs in a BM rotation is possible.

    Claws/Bio

Obviously it will be amazing with SS especially due to stacked rage and fury. Ss makes everything great. Claws will be good also, although id recommend scrapper version, but play whats fun.

I've tested high end tw/bio scrap and the damage due to bio is super nice. Hopefully it makes it out of beta safely.

    So ... Snipes

Any scrapper with a Kismet, tactics, and bio armor in offensive mode will be able to have enough tohit for it to be perma. On beta Offensive Mode currently gives 7% to hit. Kismet is another 6%. Tactics can get you the rest I think. I'd have to look. Also if it weren't for that horrible re-draw claws/db would be great for it.
  21. Lack of a taunt aura personally drives me nuts, even if overall elea pretty much the best defensive set. It's a great combo on a brute, amazing really. I do know bio armor is dropping soon and will have a taunt aura, hopefully it gets out of beta is a survivable state.
  22. My take on EM/Regen.

    http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/downl...E4F21766BFD05D

My first 50 hero was a claws/regen and my first 50 villain was a em/ea. As fun as TF is it's just a set mule these days. This build assumes high-end play with T4 agility and Ageless.

    Ugh this is so stupid.

I've been playing since issue 2, ive done everything in the game content wise, it is the gameplay mechanics that keep me around (and occasionally trolling the easily trolled). Why are we punishing min/maxers in a game about being overpowered?
